The hop unit is a bright red plastic unit that is actually quite well molded. There is very little for flashing lines that havent been taken care of and the plastic is quite hard, but not too hard as to be brittle. The unit went together easy and the fit was very good, but not so tight as to need modification to the parts to assemble. The unit fit into the receiver easily and was a great fit in the JG AK Beta that it went into.

The unit fit well and the fitment for the barrel and the hop bucking was snug, but not overly so. The unit performed well and while I did not get a chance to skirmish with it, it did chrono quite steady and was not causing fluxuations in the FPS.

This unit is a good replacement for any hop unit problems ith the JG AK Beta's (that was the only one I tested it in) and though it dropped the FPS from 360 to 240 that is easy enough to fix with a stronger spring. The unit appeared to add 1.5 mm to the feed nozzle into the magazines. This cleared up the problems that I had been having with feeding on the AK.

After the replacement, I was able to feed the AK from Marui, MAG and the JG mag that came with the gun flawlessly.

I will be happy to recommend this unit as a replacement and it is a good manufacture and will perform as needed.
