Red Dot Scope Review.

Product: Hammers 2x42mm Red Dot Scope
Magnification: 2x
Type: red dot
Cost: $62 shipped
Retailer: E-Bay

For a long time I've been searching for a scope that had just the right magnification for my TM AUG. I tried using a 3X-9X scope but found that even on the lowest magnification (3x) it was still to much for a stock tm AUG. After searching and many gogglings I ran across this scope on e-bay.

When I first picked up the scope I noticed a nice weight to it, not too heavy but not too light either. I estimate its weight to be a little less than a pound. Scope came in a thick cardboard 'gift box' with the scope bubble wrapped inside. Also included were a hex key monkey wrench (for adjustment of scope mount) and a manuel.

The scope came with a front flip up rubber lense cap and a removable rear lense cover.

The scope has 7 different levels of brightness controlled via the disk on top of the scope (my pointer finger is on it in the picture.)

This is the red dot/ cross at the lowest brightness.

Here is a picture looking through the scope.

Here it is without the scope.

Ok, here is some pictures of it on my TM AUG.

Conclusion:

This scope is big for a Red Dot scope and also pretty long for a Red Dot as well. It has a nice weight to it and is pretty much full metal construction. The scope provides a wide field of view being 42mm compared to more red dot sites being 30mm or 40mm. I would recommend this to anybody who is looking for a scope that has magnification but doesn't magnify too much for an airsoft aeg .
