Gears help!

What is the difference between flat gears and helical gears, besides the fact they are flat and helical, is there a difference as to waht I can use, or no?

I want to get some systema high speed gears to put into my AK, but which to get, Helical or Flat????? Will it really matter, plz help me!

just advice, i would go with the flat gear because the helical gears, if they blow, you would have a tough time repairing it, because more of the teeth touch each other.

Yea, I ordered the flat gears, and they are the systema ones which they are hardened steel, so they should be able to last pretty good eh? I hope so...
