has anyone seen/heard anything about these magazines (http://www.nlairsoft.com/archive.php?action=show&id=470)? a box of 8 midcaps for under $60 (as reported by a different site) from a company called MAG. i've never heard of the company before, and the mags aren't actually for sale yet at airsoftbuyer.com, as of this writing (7/16). but they look promising...

Sure would be nice for cutting prices on midcaps. I have spent 105$ and i have 6 G&P midcaps ... and 3 of them were used.

so they'll work in Marui AEG's then? i wasn't sure when i first heard about them. i'm guessing they'll work for Classic Army guns too, eh?

i'm definitely interested in getting some MP5 midcaps, but funds are bit low. probably in a month or two. does that $60 include shipping, or is that the pick-up price?

the prices are for pickup/shipped either way.

if i pick up a test box of each, would you be interested if they obviously worked well in the same box?

An eBay based company called eHobby Asia was selling "MAG M-Series Mid Cap 120rds Airsoft Magazine *BOX of 8*" for $43.99 I believe with $18.00 shipping and handling. Here is the link for all the products THEY ARE CURRENTLY UP FOR BID, OR THE "BUY NOW" OPTION. I bough two SIG Series Mid-Caps from this company and recieved them in about a week, they were messed up when I bought them, the spring came flying out the bottom, but after I got it back in, man, they shot very well, no jams, and I personally think the bb's fed better than my Marui hi caps and low caps did. I will definitely buy from again, they were good products for cheap!!!!!!

Here is the link http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2 F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=mid+caps&category0=

P.S. I saw some for $43.99 with $18.00 s+h that hold 120 rounds, and some for $41.99 with 18.00 s+h that held 100 on the link above, get the ones that hold more ammo.

Thanks for the reply, Sweinster, you're only about a year too late. ;) ....hehe, J/K. :D

Since my original posting, I've actually owned a pair of the MAG G36 midcaps (purchased from eHobby Asia) and I currently use a box of the MAG M4 midcaps (120 rounders) with my G&G M16 (purchased used, but originally from eHobby as well). So far they have served me pretty well, but my M16 mags could use a little lube.

I had actually purchased the G36 mags originally because my Marui hicaps were giving me so much trouble, but I've since sold the mags and my G36. My only complaints with the MAG mids is that they feel rather cheap, mostly given to the fact that they're made of plastic. I was also kind of dissappointed that the G36 mids weren't made with a translucent plastic (so you could see how many rounds you had left, like the real steel). It's hard to beat that price though.

I airsoft with airsoftclr21 and he bought a box of those 120 rnd. midcaps. They work really well in his TM M4 and i tried them in my TM M733 and they work great. I'm buying a box too.

I have a box of these. I bought the 8x120 rnd MAG Magazine box from eHobbyAsia on ebay.

I have used all 8 a couple of times now, and can give a quick review:

PROS
Price
For Plastic mags, they are of good build and weight. Sturdy and solid.
Price
Good feed, smooth functioning - only had one mag out of 8 give me misfeeds, but after a little lube the problem went away
Price
solid fit into CA and TM magazine wells, VERY tight into Well R6, but it does lock into the mag release. Haven't tried any other bodies...

CONS
120? closer to 110-115, but more than 100...
5-6 BBs straggle at the end of the mag instead of the "other brands" 2 or 3

A-Ron and I are working on an M4 project. when its finished, I will be able to give a longer use period review...

I forgot, I also have a pair of the MAG Mids for the G36. My buddy ran it at the Beginner's game in May, and had no problems with them.

All told, I'd say they are a great deal, bang-for-buck...

I bought a box of 10 100 round mags, same brand and so far I've had zero problems from them in my M-4. They are a little plasticky looking but still fairly sturdy feeling.

Just a quick comment... If you are worried about the "look" of these items. You can always pait over them to give them a different look. You can even get a metallic paint to make them look real.

JUST BE EXTREMELY careful when you do paint them. If you do not know how, DO NOT paint them. (I take no responsibilty for your screw up if you do try to do this.)
