I used one at the game last Saturday (the 5th) and absolutely fell in love with it! And the best thing was although it shot on full auto fine, the semi auto hardly worked and it was obviously used, but I still thought it was the best thing since sliced bread (my normal gun is a Well m4 springer). Plus I thought it was a really nice size, not to big and clunky, but not tiny like an Mp5 or G3 SAS. Also the hi-cap holds 470 rounds I believe, if you can find a reasonable deal on this gun, get it.
Also, when you shoulder the gun, your eyes pretty much automatically fall between the sights, it's awesome.

coming from the mechanical side, its a pretty kick burro rifle. V3 gearbox, which is very sturdy, takes upgrades well and performs great overall.
selector switch system is pretty good, can develop a "squishy" feel to it, but usually only after a insane amount of use.
Eg1000 motor is a great runner(im a 700 fan myself.)
High caps are pretty big, lots of upgrades for it, pretty solid build, good hopup system, only hold a mini batt-very fixable.
Sights are great, and feel is very compatible for most shooters.
yea that sums it up.

Jeeze maybe I should just get one of these. I'm having a horrible time with my M733.

i love g36's i had one as my first gun and made the mistake of getting rid of it now i got a different one and timmay has it...
oh well i will get to shoot it when it is completly ready
but i still love the gun
I have used one a few times and even though they aren't my cup of tea just for cosmetic reasons I would buy one. In fact my teammates Kit and Doc are both selling theirs and would love some buyers.

personal I love it, I've used it once so far and I'm going to get it upgraded before using it some more, as well get more hicaps lol, but as for the time I've played with it I love the little thing, its an awsome secondary weapon for me, and its a plus as well that almost the entire team is gonna have one as well just from two of us getting one lol
I've had mine for quite some time and I love it. The weight is perfect. My AUG is a little on the heavy-side and all the weight is in the back which gets annoying. My MP5A5 which i sold a few months back i thought was way too light. The g36 is perfect though with a nice solid feel. The rate of fire is excellent with its eg1000 motor compared to my aug's eg700. I have it upgraded with a pdi130 so it shoots about 380s and it has held up fine. I currently use a mini 9.6 (yea yea i know..) and have had 0 problems in the year that I have owned the gun. I especially like it though because of its after market custom parts you can get. I would definitly reccomend this gun if you are looking at TMs as it is one of their most versitile ones, yet its still not as common as all the m16s m4s and mp5s you see out there.

Nah, augs arent that heavy, only if ur strong though and dont have girly arms. hehe.
Yea, Randy's g36c is really nice, not many upgrades, but dang, with even half hop up, it fires as straight as a laser, not that good of a grouping as the AUG, but still sweet gun.

Well I dont think it is TOO heavy or anything, in fact I love my AUG, I'm just saying that it is 100% back heavy and not as comfortable as a g36.

Well, the AUG is great for hip shooting. I found it balanced good.
I love my g36c, it was my first airsoft gun. I might have to sell it for money issues but I hope not.
The highcaps are great for amount of bb's they hold and that you can clip them together. The folding stock is nice too. And the top rail is nice for what ever you want to put on it. I really can't think of a bad thing for the g36c.
I plan to go with a full g36 down the line after my l96 is done.
The aug is heavy and it is back heavy. There is allmost no weight in the front. I still love the aug though and will never get rid of it.
The only poistion I find it uneasy to shoot from is while laying down. The mag is longer than the trigger guard and the handle. It's very easy to wind the highcap too while shooting it.

i was thinking of writing up an amateur review of the Tokyo Marui G36C, but for now i'll just post a mini-review.....
Pros:
470 round, see-through hicaps
solidly built
~300fps stock (at least mine was)
folding stock (becomes pretty compact)
lots of available upgrades
good rate of fire
easily swapped battery
Cons:
hicap feeding issues (could just be me)
relatively short inner barrel
finicky selector switch
magazines are relatively bulky
i haven't had a lot of exposure to other AEGs, but my overall experience with the TM G36C has been very positive. the gun feels very solid, and is comfortable and easy to use. my biggest complaints are the feeding issues i have with both of my hicap mags, and the small battery. but even the small battery isn't too big of deal, especially with a stock gun. i have a 1100mah 8.4V that would last most of the day when my gun was stock. even 600mah batteries had enough juice to last a long time (i never actually ran one all the way down, so i have no idea how many round they're good for). however, in upgraded form, that 1100 lasts about 2 hicaps....not good. the only consolation is that field-swapping a battery isn't too tough. i'm definitely looking into other battery options though (plus i installed a G36K foregrip, allowing more space for a battery).
if the G36 feels comfortable to you and you don't mind the small batteries, i'd highly recommend picking one up. [:Y:]

Yea, even with the small battery you can get the large battery foregrip with connecter and boom, stick a 8.4v 3300 mah battery in there! It just looks sweet too.
I could point you to my old review.

Keep in mind, it was written in 2003, before the boom in G36 accessories.

its a grade a quality weapon. my friend just bought one, one of the most amazing aegs ive seen. the gun comes with 2 free site rails and the mags clip together, very good weapon. easy to upgrade, good range, manuverablity and such. fast and accurate. durable and reliable. great for CQC.
