We are requesting the open dates for instructors.

Any AEC will have a minimum of 2 weeks notice on the forums.

I hate to bump such an old thread up but its been 2 months and there still hasnt been an AEC, and we have several events rapidly approaching. any info on AECs that possibly will happen would be greatly appreciated.

I looked for any posting of one before I bumped this and I didn't see one. I wouldn't have been able to make it anyways. I work at a BSA camp full time, with no internet, and the event was held while I was working.

Still, 1 AEC the entire summer? I'm hoping there is one before Round Up that I can make it to, or at least before Vigilance.

Though I just had a sickening thought- I have brotherhood to go through for BSA the weekend of Round Up.... arrrgggh.

Round up is on Sunday and OA brotherhood is probably on Saturday so.... I think I might be able to make it. Yay.
But I still need an AEC

Hi Krichen,

There was an AEC before Freefall and I believe there was also one before Right To Bear Arms or some other event earlier this year.

Some of the WAA membership has been discussing some possibilities to hosting more AECs in the near future, but keep in mind that sometimes it can be difficult to run sanctioned courses on a regular basis; everyone has schedules they must work around.

There will be an AEC safety course the Saturday of Op Vig, but we will be trying to get more in the near future. I believe one is schedule for before Round Up, but I am not certain.

I have a full time job a hundred miles away so if there is no mention of it for at least three weeks before the event I won't see it. And if its when I'm working, too bad, so sad.
Anyways it looks like i'm not going to roundup. I wasn't about to register before knowing whether I can do an AEC there and by the looks of it I can't. I guess I'll have vigilance be my next event

And since my work season has ended as of today (just got home) I should be able to see and make it to any new AECs that are posted.

If there is I still wont go. THe price for roundup is $50 dollars. I would have registered beforehand but I lived at my workplace (which has no internet) 100 miles away from here in Janesville. I got off work yesterday night, which is the deadline, unable to deposit my checks (banks closed) and without sufficient funds to register left in my account. I can register on Monday, but I doubt I will, unless I'm somehow eligible for a discount. Just kidding.

Looked all over for the AEC at roundup and I didn't see anything about one.

There will be an AEC available at 1:00pm this Saturday at Apocalypse Paintball in Poynette, WI.
