Any info. on these grenades guys? I just ordered one to see what it's like and was hoping someone else out their had some background on them besides the two or so reviews I've read on them.

Appreciate it. :)

I have no input on the subject, but I too was looking to buy one. Please let me know how they work. :D

well its basically like a fuzed m203 shell id imagine. only shoots one way, and is probably loud. might not even be pratical, but let us know if it is/isnt.

The only thing I've heard on them is that the coverage was a little weak as the bb's came out the bottom instead the body exploding. So, it's possible that if it's turned the wrong way you might not get as good hit potential compared to the AG01's. I'd like to see a head-head test though.

It seems to me that if the bb's only come out the bottom, that the grenade would only be effective for bunker clearing. Even then, you may have an arguement that the bb's are richoceting instead of hitting head on.

True, if the conditions are good for gas. The other thing is, at $46/grenade you might not want to throw it anywhere you couldn't get it back from right away. Dollar for dollar the AG01's are less of a loss.

See I don't really plan on putting BB's in it. I plan on just using some talcum powder in it and when it goes of if somebody is within a five ft. radius of the grenade (or whatever) they are considered hit. this has a bonus of making it easy to locate the grenade after use (powder on the ground) and can just be wiped of if the powder gets on you. If you guys got any other Ideas on what to use let me know, I'm open to suggestions.

Oh, I'll let you guys know how it works when I get it. I ordered it from redwolf and they shipped it out last night so it will probably be here by Saturday at the latest.

the talcum(sp) powder wouldn't affect your AEG would it???

The guys at CA.net have been talking about and selling these for awhile, they also know about the upcoming products, such as a flash bang I believe. There is a thread on there all about the grenades: http://www.classicairsoft.net/forum1/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3884&SearchTerms=escort,grenade

They also have a few others regarding selling and troubleshooting.

Info from Sniperx at www.classicairsoftguns.com: "Oct 21 2005 : 5:29 AM

As it stands right now, SP does not plan to make an AK. Escort has developed the engine already and it can easily be installed into several body choices. The latest incarnation is better than mine. Great sound, low pressure, 100m/s at 100 psi...etc. He can make these on a limited basis for those interested at about 300,000Y plus supplying a Gaurder body.

Some insider info here. Escort is looking to purchase the YE line next month. What does this mean to you? Well...expect to see a TM fed blowback YE Mp5 in the very near future.

Escort is releasing a flashbang in the upcoming months here. It has pretty good sound with 134, I would love to hear it on R22 or Propane.

Escort is grumbling about possibly making a Sterling L2a3 next year as well. "

.. only if you bury it in the powder or dump it down the barrel or dump it in the mag...

What were the rules with the AG-01 grenade? Anyone within a certain radius unless blocked by hard cover is dead, right? (I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I read that on here awhile back) Shouldn't the MK II be the same?

Yeah I'm not sure about anybodies field rules if others use them, but that is kinda how I plan on using them. At least in my own games that is (will have to talk to field operators to find out how they want them used or not at all).

Man I cannot believe those guys (Redwolf). Yesterday at about two in the morning (about 6:00 p.m. over in HK) they ship it out and already it's left Madison on a truck headed to my door (actually my neighbors it's his account, I usually just ask him to order stuff and I pay him back). The truck left Madison at 7:34 a.m. so it should be here in about an hour. what amazes me is that it came from Hong Kong to Stoughton in 2 DAYS. Got to go now though he just got here will update this in an hour or so.

how much did you pay for shipping? Priority?

They (Redwolf) have them for $36.00 a piece and I'm not sure about shipping as I got it with some other stuff for my rifle. It got here in 2 days so it's like priority on steroids. thier shipping is usually kind of high but the speed justifies it and especially when you consider how far it's going. A couple people on here really love to bash Redwolf and I have no idea why. They never really give any reason to justify their post of "Redwolf SUCKS!" If you have this opinion why do you have it? What experience do you have from ordering from Redwolf? I personally Love them. Me and my neighbor have bought a total of aproxamitly (sp?) $3-4,000 from them (in guns and gear) and everything we have ordered has been in the box when it arrived.

Anyway I think the grenades are great. They look good and feel VERY solid. I won't get into to much detail here because there are other reviews of this grenade on the net. but for using just BB's it's really kinda uni-directional but when you pour alittle talcum powder (or baby powder whatever you like) the grenade really comes into it's own. When it goes off it creates a nice little white puff of smoke (very noticeble) and creates a nice little pop to accompany it, very loud when used indoors (I found out the hard way :().

Overall I think it's a good buy and if you get any I suggest more than one as you'll probably go out and buy another the minute you throw the first one.
