How hard are retractable stocks to remove and attach? Mine doesn't have that sling attachment ring, and I'd like to use something other than a two point sling.

Not very hard at all, just like any other LE stock. You just pull the lever on the bottom as far as it goes to put the stock on and off of the buffer tube.
