Real VS airsoft compatability

i found an awesome website for the AK 47 and i couldnt believe my eyes at all the cool accessories for the AK that i had never seen before, until i realized that the website was for the real AK47.

now to my question, how many of the accessories that work for the real gun work for the airsoft AK too??

specifically the "AK Tactical TriRail Mount" is what im really interested in.

For someone who doesnt know much about converting and switching parts, it would be nice to get an Rail system for my AK just by taking out the top reciever.

The rail in question appears to replace the upper receiver cover. In theory, TM aeg's are a 1:1 scale, which means that theoretically it should fit. I'm not saying it will, I'm not saying it won't.
I know some real steel pieces fit onto airsoft guns with no problems, others don't or take some mod-ing to get them to work right.

You might want to post on the Red Alliance forums. They have a bunch of guys who do a lot of modding to their aks and should be able to tell you for certain if parts will/will not work.

As for "real steel" parts they do work for airsoft, but there maybe some customizing to make it work. I have a S.I.R. for my M-4 that works perfect. it is a chance that you might take to get it and see if it works. good luck on that.

would that rail be able to fit on a real steel Romanian AK74 ? I have been trying to find one and didnt know the compatibility between AK47 and AK74's
