Gents,
Once again it is that time of the year that I come to you and say "I need role players". THE BATTLE FOR BREEDLAND III is May 29th and 30th and I need role players for the event.

As always, this is also an oportunity for players that are below the age requirement to play to come and show us that they have the maturity to be exempt for our next event and for players that may not have the equipment or experience to play this type of event to still be a part of it.

Role players must have a parental waiver filled out if under 18 due to them being on field but there is no charge to come role play. Additionaly, role players that put on a good show for our guests will be compensated by free entry into a future TFD event, of that player's choosing.

If interested, please PM me. Thanks - Bats.

Awsome idea!!

Have you thought about talking to some of the local high schools or anything like that? Would be great to get some of the paintball guys to come and be the civilians and get them to come to our side of things :D

I know it's up to the organizers and the availability of role-players, but I would prefer that random people not be the role-players.

The role-players, to me, play a pivotal roll in enhancing the mil sim experience. My fear is that people not inherently interested or grounded in the sport won't take the role-playing seriously enough and it will result in a lessor experience for me and the other participants.

Bat,

I'm planning on going, preferably as a player, but if you need more role-players I can do that for you instead. I'll shoot you a PM too.

At the same time, if you get people who could get into the role / costume and play it correctly.... It could really enhance the game.

Im just bumping this thread to see if there is anyone out there who may have missed it who might be interested... We have gotten a few replies and I thank those who have offered but I would like to see some more.

I want to stay with people who are in the sport for the reasons mentioned above as I second the motion that they do play a pivital role, but I would entertain using local theatre groups or high school drama clubs, if the people involved are willing to get dirty for the role and not judge our players.

Thanks - Bats.
