So if any of you have played Timesplitters 2 you might remember what I'm talking about. Here's how it worked in the game: There were five zones, and the objective was to control as many zones as possible for as long as possible until the game was over. You would run to a certain spot and the color of the light there would change to your team.
Here is an extremely detailed diagram that we will refer to throughout this explanation:

Well I find that this might be fun to incorporate into Airsoft. What we could do is use OCs to mark the zones and times. So let's say team A and team B are out on the field giving it their all. There are five zones in our imaginary field. Far NE, far NW, far SE, far SW, and center. There would be a spawn zone for each team at say, the center north end of the field (A), and the southern center end of the field (B). This would prevent people from spawning in the bases and making the battles go on for longer and be more difficult. Let's say there's a spawn every fifteen minutes. Then these guys could go to wherever and be 'reinforcements'.
The teams could put defensive squads on each zone, and at the same time try to push on the other zones. Say team A has four zones. This means that they have to spread their troops across all four zones to defend them, giving team B an offensive advantage.
The game starts, the OCs are in position to wait for teams to arrive at the zones. Right now neither team is "collecting time" from a zone. Let's stick with the OC at the northeast corner of the field. The game starts, and OC Bob is chillin. It's 10AM. At 10:15 Team A comes in with a squad of ten. Team B hasn't made it up this far. The OC marks down that Team A has captured Zone 2 / NE Zone at 10:15. At 10:45AM Team B launches an assault. At 11:00AM all of Team A has been exterminated from Zone 2 / NE Zone. The OC sees that the firing has stopped, and that members from Team B have full control of the zone. The OC looks at his watch, sees that it is 11:00AM. He marks on his clipboard that Team B is now "collecting time" from this zone, and Team A "collected" 45 Minutes from that zone.
The game stops at say 5 PM. The Zone OCs add up how long each team held each zone, then add them together. Which ever team "collected" the most time wins!
General Rules:
To Capture a Zone: You must have complete control of it now. The defending team still collects time during a battle. Once the OC feels the attacking team now has total control of the zone, then the other team collects time.
Spawns: One hit kill. When you are shot, either you can be healed by a medic (medic rules can be determined by game organizers), or you die and go back to your spawn point. Say you got shot at 10:37. You have to wait till 10:45 to spawn. Say you got shot at 10:46. You have to wait till 11:00 to spawn.
Courtesy: Bang kills and kill rags of course.
Let me know if I contradicted myself. It makes sense in my head :D.
