Gents,
As I write & re-write the rules and game-play guidelines for 2010's Battle for Breedland event, I find myself going back over & over the AARs & PMs that followed 2009's game. With that, I constantly see conflicts. One person likes something, the next person hates it. While I fully realize it is impossible to please EVERYONE, it is always our goal to at least please most everyone, while not sacrificing the tone & intent that TFD has with all of our events, MILSIM.
The Website is slowly being updated with that information that I am prepared to make public, along with a new look. I invite each of you to look at the site and read the 2010 rules, as they are CURRENTLY written. Then, PM me with what you, as players, would like to see.

I am going to say this right now, do not think I ignore you if you do not get a reply, or if you do not see the changes that you ask for. Some of you Im sure will ask for the same things as others and some of you will ask for things that conflict with others. Some of you wil ask for things that we (TFD) simply do not think belong at our events. Some of you will ask for things that I myself have been thinking of.
I am going to point out one thing now with the Medic rules. In the 2009 event, players that were "wounded" could stand and observe, passing on information verbaly &/or over the radio. WHile some liked this, the overwhelming complaint I heard was that those players often blocked lanes of fire &/or that they were placing themself in an unfair possition to observe. The first rule change I made (so far) was to make it so that wounded players MUST LAY DOWN. They (currently) may still communicate and pass information, but they may not sit or stand. This not only removes them from firing lanes, but also decreases the amount of intel they can gather from their "wounded" possition.
There will also be some revisions in game play, regarding the APC usage. First of all, it is TFD's goal to have a second APC on line before Breedland III. If we are able to raise the money required for this, it will obviously effect the way in which the APCs are used and recognised. The intent is to have the APC you already know, "BOW", remain OD and be used by Cesair forces. BOW's cousin, "LUKE", will be a tan version & will then be used by Domingo.
(BOW stands for "Better Off Walking". LUKE stands for "Lets Us Kill Everyone". Yes, they are named after the Dukes of Hazard.)
Much of this will be determined by cost, which is another thing I am going to address quickly here... SOME of you complained about the cost of Breedland II. While MOST of you realized that the cost was minimal to the amount that TFD spent to put on the event, I am going to point this out again. SOME OF TFD LOST MONEY TO PUT THAT EVENT ON FOR YOU! If you do the cost break-down, you all got one hell of a lot of GOOD Mil-Sim airsoft for your buck. With that said, the cost for the 2010 event has not been determined yet because it will all depend on what it will cost us to put on the event.
We hope to do some fund raising in the early spring (if not yet this year, before the snow flys) to start trying to offset the cost of some much needed repairs and upgrades to BOW & to start trying to lay the ground work for LUKE.
Please send your input,
