Bought some silicone oil from y'all at Apoc. Wish I had bought all of it after my friend used up most of the can cleaning his one AEG and sidearm. Haha.

I was in there about two years ago and they mostly carried LPEG Cyma's and different types of pistols. I don't know if things have changed much since then but if they actually carry Mid-level or High-level AEG's, I'd think it would be something worth checking out.

If i may ask, do you have in stock Systema products?

yah ive been into the Toy Box a few times as i live about 10mins away, i bought a DBoys M4 S-System from them a few years ago. i bought it for $170 and i later found out you could get the same gun on Airsplat for about $100! and i ended up upgrading the ENTIRE gun! literally the only thing that remains from the original DBoys is the gear box shell and S-System rail. i ended up puting about $600 into this gun!

this store is great for the beginner players who have no idea what theyre doing! cuz you end up paying the same price for an entry level gun as you could for a decent midlevel gun!

if you are looking for Classic Army, REAL Tokyo Marui, KWA AEGs, G&G, or Systema PTWs, this is definetly not the place for you!! guns are way over priced and they are very low end! mostly plastic WELL, or other off brand chinese guns that ive never hurd of before!

trust me i know what im talking about! i speak from past experiences. your best bet is to just order online!

and for the owner of Toy Box- i really hope you consider getting some of the higher end Guns, and gear! and plz make the prices more reasonable! i would really like to see a Decent airsoft retailer around the Madison area! and it might help to go primarily airsoft products instead of all the world war 2 action figure stuff! and maybe change the name to something more suited for airsoft if you want to get more attention and business from the airsoft community!

I went there yesterday to check some stuff out. They do have a nice selection of camo and such for decent prices. I think their best deals are on non-weapon type things. They have helmets for 20 bucks, which was nice. Facemasks and stuff too. They have a gas powered grenade for 40, not one of those rubber mock grenades (though they do have those too). They've got helmet covers, and apparently they're going to restock on mags next weekend.

I think their prices on gas pistols and such are fair, and they have decent prices on AEGs. Only thing I saw that kind of concerned me was the E1 G36C that I saw a guy buy at Apoc's OP Vig4 for $180. That's a $120 gun. But I guess it was an interesting deal because it had a battle axe receiver so that the G36 could receive M4/M16 mags. I don't know if that's really worth the extra 60 bucks, but whatever. Oh, it had a crane stock too.

In the end though, I'm glad they're near where I live. They don't sell cheap stuff like Wal-Mart, or other sports stores that sell Crossman and other non-TM compatible guns. They also have handcuffs($10) and a grappling hook($20) there. Next time I get 30 bucks. . . fun stuff. Also, they have $6 laser sights. They're pretty crappy, and they do show up as about the size of a CD on the target from about 100ft away, but they are only $6. I got one. Still worth it in my opinion, because it looks cool. It fits onto rails.

Aside from their airsoft stuff, they do have some cool WWII/WWI stuff there, like models and such. They had this giant cannon thing on a train car on a rail road track. If you're into airsoft, which you all are because you're reading this post, this store pretty much has all the things you need, that is aside from a wide selection of AEGs. You can't buy all the makes of all AEGs before going broke if you're a store like that I guess. I know there are probably better deals out there online, but the thing I like about a walk-in store is that you can see what you're buying before you buy it. Also, you don't have to wait a few days for shipping. Say you're heading out to an airsoft game and you don't have that extra four days to wait for something to ship to your house. This is incredibly convenient.

I support local commerce.

oh and the high price of the pistols is justified, it comes with an extra mag a can of green gas and a holster if i remember correctly.

Task Force S.P.E.A.Ryeah I saw the same gun there for 215 last week with a box mag and something else. I think its also funny the owner has not come back on here to say anything.

It's probably because he has been pissed all over in this thread. I wouldn't want to defend my business model or practices on a forum where a bunch of people are going to piss on everything I do or say.

As a former airsoft retailer, I will say this. Online retailers can offer cheaper prices because they have a bigger sales area. Airsplat can deliver (when they decide ship on time and send the correct items) for cheaper prices (don't forget that shipping cost) then a local guy because they cater to the entire US.
A free standing store will only be able to cater to a limited area, let's say a 45 minute drive in any direction. How many airsoft players live in an area of that size. 25... 50... Also, a store does not move as many airsoft guns as a online retailer does. If you buy 10 M4's as a retailer, you may pay 60-70% of the MSRP. If you buy 250 M4's, then you may get then for 20-30% MSRP. So an online retailer is always going to be able to afford to sell them cheaper.

It's simple math. If you want to get your airsoft gun immediately, then support a local store. If you want to save a few bucks to spend on the newest Counter Strike t-shirts, then buy online. But don't piss on a guy's lively hood.

I'd actually agree with Maple here. The man is trying to make a front for airsofting in southern wisconsin you might as well try to support what we have. I understand his prices are high and his wares are thin but for those of you who can't purchase online due to a number of problems and such this is the only way you can buy without asking a friend to pool an order together. Like I said Support what you have before you try to boycott it.

We try to support the "Box" as much as possible. All of the mag, gear pouches in the Ditchpig came from there.

You've got a great store. If I ever need something desperately and I can't wait for shipping, I know that your store is there. You should stock up on M4 Midcaps for Freefall this year. >.>

Hey Toybox, you should upload your online wares. When I look on http://toyboxwi.net/, I see low grade airsoft equipment. But when I walk into your store, I know you have quality products. Nobody would ever know that from looking at your site.

All of them? Seriously? Everything from the TM PSG1 to the CA M249, and all the M4 variants in between?

I stopped by the ToyBox earlier today. Apparently they got a guy who is very good at airsmithing. They also do not charge profit for new parts, they get the parts at wholesale price and just charge you what they paid.
