UTG/Maruzen 870 Mags

Anyone know if the magazines for the Maruzen fit the UTG gun and vice versa? I ask because, apperantly (sp?) the UTG version is supposed to be a copy of the Maruzen gun. If so this would be nice because the Maruzen Magazines hold 40 rds. instead of 20 like the UTG's.

I really appreciate any info. I can get.

well, the UTG is 17, I believe.

Well, you could order one and let us all know. I would think they would fit, with some modifications to it. but from pictures and what not, they all look the same. just buy one clip and try it. If it does, I will give you a cookie.

Seriously though, I have a UTG 870 coming but I don't a maruzen and money is kind of tight at the moment so i wuld rather not waste money on a magazine I can't use. I have seen the top off a UTG magazine and it looks like a AEG type and has the general format of the M16 magazines with the nozzle at the front. Kinda gives me an idea. ;)

But the Maruzen Mags have a feeding port similar toa spring or GBB where the forward moving piston "scoops" a BB into the chamber.

Someone correct me on this if I am wrong, but that is what it looks like from the picture.

The maruzen 870 uses shells not a cartriage.

wrong gun, the utg is based on the ca870, uses a 40 round mag of some sorts, the m870 does use shells but is different (tube for shells opposed to magazine). However the maruzen mags may be just as useless as the shells in the utg m87.
