It would be cool if some teams in North East Wisconsin could get together and put together a league. This league would be for competition. You can win prizes and money if you win the scrimmages which can go towards your team or members. I think this would be awesome to do. Stalker-Recon would be interested in doing such a thing if any other teams in North East Wisconsin would too post it up. We could even do some mass team senarios.

The problem with this is that airsoft is not as much a "competitve sport" as paintball and is hard to get a tournament or league going for the reason is that then tensions start getting high. Also if people are going to pay to play they usually like some sort of objective or scenario and not as much "Paint-soft"

Just my two cents

There is a MINOR problem with playing airsoft for "Cash and Prizes." Airsoft has no clear cut, inarguable notification of a "hit." In paintball you have the paint, with laser tag, you have the target receiver. Since there is no way to indisputably show that a person is hit, then there is no real way to completely prevent a team cheating from cheating their way to the top.

this is a "Hobby," or can even be referred to as a "recreational sport." But, as at least Maple and I have discussed on a "too overwhelming to count" number of occasions, it is not a "real sport" because there is no way to make money as a "professional player."

Well you can kinda tell if the person is hit, lol. They usually get up and scream hit because of the sudden pain. This is just a suggestion though...

no...not really...i took about 3 hits yesterday and i stood there and asked the guy" am i out??" and he is like " i think so" so i just called it as you can never be sure with gear on and running through the woods with branches hitting you.

So then i take it you would want it to where people dont wear plate carriers and such? Or just a no FPS limit? I have taken sniper rounds from less then 100ft and didn't hear a clear hit while i had 2 guys around me and firing all three guns. So in a situation like that is where the honor in the sport comes to play.

If your playing for prizes or money you wont have the honor with everyone.

And, stock guns that are under 400 don't hurt that much to get up and scream lol.

Just my questions and comments on the matter.

thats what i was thinking lol, most times people play when there are a lot of players and its long range and it does not hurt and much as just tapping, its mostly the sound that lets you know your hit most the time

Be fair, I have been playing for a long ass time, and I still get up and holler every time I get shot... because I am a bit of a Sally.

Thank you for finding my typo and fixing it. I would have also accepted "Giant Nancy" or "Sandy Vag".

Well were my team plays its a small field. So no matter what gun it is; no matter how low or high the fps is it still hurts (Only for a split second). We dont go around with high tech vests that would make the bb's bounce off or not hit your body. We just play with shirts and pants. So we feel when we get hit. I guess I forgot those teams out there that play with vests and stuff that would not even feel getting hit; just hear it.
