I attened this event and I have to say it was great, I want to give a big thanks to Jim for setting this whole thing up, and also to AP paintball for allowing use of their fields. I was the CRG frontline squad commander and I would like to also thank the CRG commander along with Wolf Recon and the Tank crew for helpin us out, , all of the MIllita team did a great job defending against us but we all know who came out on top:).

Once again thanks to all who attened on both sides I had a blast along with everyone else!

Thanks to all who attended. It made it a great day. The count was 52 players and the weather was beautiful. 3 guns, two chronos and a nice gift pile were given away in the raffel. 1 out 52 were the odds for a nice G-G MP5!
The CRG ended up winning on points. Cheyenne mountain did not fall in the time limit for faze three , but the gates were breached. With the CRG on the offense all day, it was pretty much a non stop fire fight. It wasn't easy going for them either. I am still trying to mentally regroup my marbles from what all went down Sunday.

The 3 best acts or herosim as seen from my eyes were:

1)One of the Badger airsoft players on the Militia side came sprinting out of the fort with a satchel charge in one hand and a pistol in the other under a hail of gunfire.(it was visions of Audie Murphy!) He ran up to the tank shot the tech behind it and hit the tank with the sacthel charge. Tank dead, tech dead and then as he was running back to the fort he was finally hit. That stopped the CRG advance for a short time until they regrouped and healed up

2) The CRG fought there way up to the last objective but it was faced with one last road block before the tank could roll up to the fort. And again, under a hail of gun fire. One brave soul ran up the trail and dove for the road block(wolf recon member). He grabbed it and removed it from the road and then he was hit. The tank driver gunned the gas and headed forward. Only to find out the road had been mined! Boom! Tank dead again. But sides were taking heavy casualties at this point. The medics could run around fast enough.
The refs were paying so much attention to make sure the hits were called during the last major exchange of gunfire, we failed to notice one item. When the tank was destroyed twice on that road, What was inside of it? The Moonshine! Those two gallons of ever clear saved a lot of CRG players. When the tank died, the moonshine should have cooked the whole inside in a pretty blue flame. The moonshine was technically destroyed then.
Hmmmmm? Oh well, it was a great firefight though.

3) The next act of heroism has to go to the Militia sniper from ABZ that stopped the whole CRG infantry column for 20 minutes below the first POW tower. It took them a long time to figure why the kill rags we coming out like a klenex in the cold/flue season. He stayed in position until finally hit. Excellent job award goes out to him! Don't know his name but I did talk to him a while after about the CQB.

4) Most hated item of the day?
The spy satellite. The Canadian commander could be herd yelling up at it
" Shut up EH! Get out of here, EH!" "I hate you, EH!" All in fun.

5) Most loved item ?
The few gallons of corn liquor. If you were lucky enough to find one. It healed any hit you had. For each hit you pored out the amount of wounds you hand according to the lines on the side. The more wounds the more you pored out. When it was empty, you were done. You were just becoming so numb to hits you could keep going until it was gone.

Much more happned this day, more than I can put in one post. For those that missed it, ask a player who was there what they thought of it.

Rules and things on the block to be revised for next year.

1) More SHEEP. There will be double the number next year. And they will be spaced long ways on the field and not acrossed it like I had done.

2) CQB will go under the micro scope revision with player input on it. The forts were a lot fun, but we need to tighten the rules up on them. The front hallways will be marked in sections for grenade use. That way the defending unit can toss grenades out from the center room into the halls to help defend. I liked the grenades and they worked well. Especially when 4 to 5 guys were piled in one area. And we will have each fort circled with a visible line. Once your inside of that line its CQB and proper fps and weapon will be required. It was still a good time even after I got drilled in the knees from outside the fort through a window. Once I make the changes I will post them for comment.

3) The Milita will be given patrol areas next year to help in the defense. I still need to talk to rattler to get his take on this. He was the Militia commander and had a long ride home so he didn't hang to long after it was done.

Thanks again to all the commanders, players, and vendors (ABZ, Wisconsin Airsoft Wars, and one other that I forgot the name! ------ deals? I will find it again and post it.

A 3 faze action report will come later. We will also have Youtube video in the near future along with pictures from ABZ.

Thanks again
