Omaha '08 rocked.

Favorite moments?

5.Getting to the field at 8am on Friday and then hanging out with the CC guys all day.
4. Sneaking up on 8 Americans (when I was German during the morning game) who didn't even notice us until we were 10 feet away.
3. Attempting to fire a flare over a German bunker (the new cement block on on the far left ridge). Instead of going up in the air, it quark-screwed to the left and ended up lighting an area with no tactical significance at all...
2. *During the night game* Watching a German come towards me and begin to reload. I then stood up and yelled "What team?!". He tried to turn and run but I lit him up :D
1. Playing firefighter when the field almost burned down during the night game. That was EPIC.

Do you know who started the fire?

I enjoyed shooting people that were far away, especially when we were advancing into the woods. 358 FPS with .25g BBs and 455mm AK barrel makes a weapon with a decent range. If I woulda just had a tightbore and a m110 spring....ooooh. Coulda put those BBs into those bunker's holes alot easier.

Yeah Jared was holding a flare (not parachute...just a road flare) and he turned to respond to someones question and when he did that the angle of the flare dropped and it sparked some dry pine needles and then...boom.

But hey, at least we got free sloppy-joes!

LOL, The field starting on fire was probably a smoke granade. It was throwen in an area were there was a lot of dry pine needles as well as a tree that fell and had begun to dry out. It was angled down the slpe of the hill so it started burning faster. The Road flare issue was why a few more fireworks went off at once then I had wanted....lol. I had not needed any help putting out any fire with the flair issue as when the fireworks were done going off there was nothing to put out. Nothing started on fire other then the fireworks as were and how I had them set up was a much more controoled inviorment... Two different locations.
