I would be interested to see some Battlefield (as in the video game series by EA Games) type games. Games where each side is given an amount of regen points and there would be multiple bases/flags as objectives to capture. When one team has more bases/flags then the other side's regen points decrease. The point of the game being to reduce the opposing side's regen points to zero.
Teams would have to remain in area of bases/flags for a few minutes to 'capture' the bases/flags. Also to save confusion, respawn points would be independent of the bases/flags.

That'd be cool, I'm down. We can get boats and tanks and attack helicopters.... or am I getting too ahead of myself?

And the all the destructable environments? Thats my kinda game, haha. But yeah, I like that idea, seems like it would make a pretty fast paced game too.

that sounds like a ton of fun!!!1!1
then you could have little health deposits on the field hidden, and if you find them, you get like full health or you can share with a team mate!! and then there could also be ammo deposits too!!

Well I guess one could add different variances to the game. I was just trying to keep is simple and easy to understand. Also I don't think using health in airsoft is a very good idea because it just leads to confusion and having to remember a lot more rules.:D
Also I forgot to mention but regen points will get used every time a soldier respawns. Also I haven't really play tested this but I would leave out medics for now.

I am currently working out a Battlefield™ style game in either MN or at Apoc (if possible). I have almost all the game mechanics worked out and will be implementing them into open games and smaller ops over the next year to work out any kinks. I am hoping to get this game going sometime in the beginning of next season.
I will be using in game mechanics like weapon specific kits. Players will have to register for the team and the kit that they want to play. players will only be able to play their chosen kit and must have the required weapons relative to that kit. Players would be only allowed to do things that their specific kit can do in the game. This OP will rely very heavily on the individual commanders ability to utilize the soldiers at their disposal.

dont for get the uav's lol
it would be fun..but then it would be really hard to keep track of regeins...how will you count total points.
one way would to radio in the points at each base..but thats a lot of work and what if a group of say 7 come in and regein, go out in the field, kill some of the other team then get called back cuz you find out there where not points left and you just played 10 mins that dont even count.

There would be a neutral channel that teams could check on base status and regens remaining. Regen points would be enforced by people with stopwatches and clip boards and would radio in the regens. Bases could also be enforced to make sure that people are playing fair.

Neat. Good luck trying to enforce the specific kits. The more specific the requirements the less people who are going to be able to play.
I was thinking of BF style games as a substitute for regular team deathmatches, CTF and downed pilot games. Maybe even use BF style of games for more of the story-based games instead of the modified team deathmatch.

what i meant by health, was like a stash of 20 (can be 1-5-10 just a number)regens for a team randomly hidden somewhere
