I was wondering if you guys maybe wanted a Teamspeak or a Ventrillo and for people that don't know what it is its a a voice communication program that you use via Microphone. people could meet up and discuss matters (of Airsoft ofcourse) on it. Just wondering because i could get one for the WAA community but its up to you guys. I know its kind off a odd thing to offer but I feel I should offer something back to WAA because Ive received some awesome tips from you guys.

thanks,
MoosE.

My only problem is the arguments that can come up... I was a TS Server Admin in a public server (privately owned, open to public use), and it was a pain. Not to mention, I'm not sure if too many guys would really care to install the extra applications and work to get it set up. Though when talking a person through putting together a gun or something it certainly could be handy.

Personally, it's great you are looking for ways to pay back the community that's helped you, but I'm not sure that this is the right tool that a majority of the community could use.

hmm or you could take like 5 mins and set up a AIM account and you can live chat on that too!

Or why not MSN Messenger? Or Yahoo Chat... or ICQ? Or Facebook Chat? Or MySpace IM? or telephone? or text messaging? or just go over to their house?

it takes just as long to set any of those up (with exception to the latter 3.) Not to mention they all require having the other person having the same thing and you or them having your name/information. TeamSpeak/Ventrillo have one nice thing... you only need server information, otherwise it's easy to find someone to talk to to help you out. It's not a bad idea at all... I've seen TeamSpeak used for a lot of different things, mostly games of course, but it certainly would be easier to communicate verbally than text while talking about maintenance and such (though as previously mentioned... video > verbal > text ).

Or just use http://gabbly.com/http://wiairsoft.com just by clicking on the link.

gabbly doesn't require any software installs or anything, it's nice.
