I've already upgraded my gun with a m120 spring, metal springs and bushings, and a sg1 tightbore barrel, and I'm just wondering how long I'm looking at before my gun takes a total crap on me. By the way, I'm also running a 9.6v 1100mah battery(NOOOOOOOOO a 9.6v, I know...). I know that it puts more strain on my gun, but lets not focus this thread on why I'm a moron for using a 9.6v. I am more interested in what I will have to replace first and then what else after that. Will it be the gearbox, or something else? Also, once the first thing goes, does it make sense to just upgrade the rest of the internals once the gun is apart? I'm moderate on the trigger during games. I dont go continuous full auto, I go 4-5 round burts, and sometimes more. Thanks for any help you may provide.

Nobody, including myself, can say how long, or whats going to fail first. Its the laws of mechanics. Tappet plate could snap. Air nozzle could slip off the plate. Piston teeth could break off. Gears could shed teeth. Motor pinion gear could break teeth. Gearbox front could crack right off. Anything can happen, including it lasting for a long time.
Personally-id go with a 8.4 batt with at least 2000mah or better.
