Just thought I'd throw this out there.

A while back, I posted about my G36C's secector switch problem. With the aid of some forum members, I found that the incredibly small ball bearing and spring inside the left switch was missing.

The only online places that I have found sell the switches in pairs for approximately 20 bucks, which adds with shipping to about 30 bucks. I could buy something nice for that amount, and don't want to shell out that much for a couple items so damn small and cheap.

Basically, do any of you guys who fix guns up (or anyone else) have and switches lying around? I have both solid switch parts, just the left one is missing the internal parts. Without one set of those little parts the selector switch doesn't lock and I have to wing it (which is bad if it falls off safe somehow and I get a finger-in-trigger-stupid-attack).

Also, I type too damn much. Sorry :P.

I'm confused... All your looking for is a bearing or someone with a complete switch assembly to sell for dirt cheap, right?

Yeah, sorry about the rant, but yes, I need the either the insides (consisting of both a bearing and spring) of a switch. Or the whole thing someone just happens to have lying around, so I can take the parts out.

I don't need the metal part with the line on it, just what's inside.

No one has any spares or a junk gun lying around?

I will check later, but I have a spare set of MP5 switches. They may have the spring/bearing you need.

Take a look at McMaster-Carr, they have an assortment of small springs and ball bearings.
