I really enjoyed the scenario today, I figured I’d just add a few more of my thoughts I came up with on the drive home.

Medic Rules: I loved the whole idea behind Medic rules. The cards worked well in my opinion and something about medics seems more realistic and fun. I’ve played medic other times there were medic rules and it is a lot of fun when you have to run through a hail of fire to save some poor sap that just got shot. I think medic rules should be a standard, as opposed to regens.

Points: This was a great idea, points lost for kills, gained for objectives. Fantastic. Personally I think this could be expanded and made more exciting, such as secondary objectives (possibly neutral) that give bonus points and/or an advantage to the team that secured them.

Terrain: I enjoyed the game type today, and spending most of my time matches my and my dad’s play style, but I couldn’t help but want to break it up a little with a battle in the open field. For example, maybe after collecting all the objectives the Ambushers would rally to the hotel and the two patrol/support squads would have to attack it and take a final objective. Or maybe something similar in Tower two. Just food for thought.

Thanks for a great game as always.

We actually did do that after the third game was basically endexed. It was fun, but I am a much bigger fan of objective based play. On that note, I think that the skirm was well organized and both the objectives and point system were simple and clear.

The medic rules worked out very well, and I had no problem with unsportmanlike play. I'm not a big fan of the grenade kills, but that's just a personal bias.

I'd just like to give a shout-out to the Dark Blue team one more time, thanks for keeping them off us, and of course the Brown team, great work from everyone. To those who missed it, you missed a good time, even with the weather. To all who came out, way to adapt and overcome and play a great skirm.

Yep, despite the snow and rain, it was a blast. My legs are killing me today thanks to having to cover so much terrain in the wet snow. I too enjoyed the medic rules with the punch cards. The penalty for dying made you think a little more. The brown team definitely did the best out there. Good job, guys.

Nice meeting and playing both with and against you, Chief. I hope to run into you at future games.

Outstanding game! one of the best this year. I am sure most of you know what part made my day ;)

My ankles are sore from running in the heavy snow but it is worth it and I think the snow added a great effect to the game. I liked the medic rules and think they worked out very well. I also liked using the far sides of the field.

Chief, thank you for leading us, we (brown team) could'nt have done it without you. I look forwards to playing with you again also.

Thanks Gary for the great scenario and for providing the field!

That was a great game. I really liked the medic rules, of course it was a bit hard for me to be the medic since most of the time I am in the front.

Good parts
Good game, well organized, no cheating that I saw. The brown team got 5 out of 6 objectives with only taking 3 hits. The best part was in the 3rd game. I came up behind base 1 and took out three guys that were facing the field. Shot those guys then went and naded two more in a fox hole.

The only bad part for me was getting shot at a very close range (10ft or closer.) luckily it was winter and had several layers on.

over all it was a great game.
