Hi my name is ben van haren and ive been playin airsoft for about year and a half. my friends arent really into airsoft so i thought id find some friends here. im pritty good and have decent gear. ive got two guns, a JG G-36, and a JG M-4 RIS with a red/green dot scope. im also lookin to get asked to play on a team, but no high hopes though:(. well thats baiscly it

Welcome 18! There is a lot of information on this site that I hope you find usefull.

As for joining a team, I recomend attending a few games & get to know people in person. Team membership is rewarding, but making sure you get allong with that team's members is key. THe friendships you make in the sport will dictate how much fun you get outta it.

Welcome Ben,to the one place I spend most of my time(other than school and sleeping).

I was planning on starting a team,probaly not until next summer though....Or when I decide on the name....and when I get an AEG....Otherwise if you wanted to be on a team with someone who hasn't been playing long and has been to one game,i'll have it running in due time....

AEG...Something cheap,effective,and awesome looking...in my eyes that would be a ECHO 1 mp5-a4 r.i.s,a $165 value,all mine for $165.But making $5.50 an hour at my parents bar workin a few hours a week isnt really bringin up the money stacks:(...but I do have all winter to get it.
Afterwards ima get a bigger battery and a silencer,and maybe a laser sight or light:D.....

cool i work at a local resterauant but it just closed for the winter so dang:(

i myself have a JG M4 RIS and its a great gun love to the internals. good choice with the echo one they are good gun and i have thought about getting on for a while now, mabye m4 with m16 type stock and a scope:D

Ahh yes,I also was planning on putting a scope on it.....It's odd,I keep switching guns I plan to buy and i'm finally just gonna get the mp5....if I switch again i'll probaly just shank myself.

Afterwards I plan on getting a sniper rifle,super 9 and such,and making my own ghille suit(U.S.A.S.O.C. issue #3:D).

Hey someone actually looked at my space,how awesome is that.Correct I live in between loganville and plain I think it was,I go to reedsburg high school,and everyone there is in love with paintball....

As for the gun,internet.Usually shorty usa is my #1,but they be charging $200and I found it on airsoft atlanta for $165.

And if you looked at the friends list,my #1 will be my teams homepage seeing as how I got no idea how to make a regular one,the name gangster thugz of mil town will not be the name though....

hey you mention shorty usa and im lokking at that site right now at a gun i want to buy....heres a list of some sites that ive bought from

1)shorty usa= ok
2)airsplat= good site good prices
3)airsoft gi=good place too

my advice is airsplat thats where i got my M4 from:D
ive seen mp5 go for around $95-$110 and there JG exact same thing as echo one

My cousin actually ordered about $600 total worth of guns offa shorty,and didn't really look at statz or reviewz,so he bought like 30 crappy guns when he coulda bout 3-4 good ones.

Shorty is a good site,I ordered the majority of my stuff from there.Ships out fast as hell.Airsoft arms I ordered off of too,but I ordered something that wasn't in stock,and that order was in january this year.I ended up getting the package in june,thats probaly only because someone called the company...otherwise its good stuff.

But I will check out airsplant mos def.What gun was you looking to buy.

echo one M4 with M16 type stock....shorty usa has one i know and mabye airsoft gi but not air splat

Ahhhh the G36......one gun I was planning to buy before I planned to buy another gun which I never did.I ordered my WE 1911 goverment from shorty,it killed multiple zombie's in the first ever game of op:plague.

I'm the guy in the white shirt and blue jeans....I mostly show up on their as a zombie,otherwise you can get a pretty good look at me from behind at the end climbing into the window:D,I got some crap on the back of my shirt from sitting against a tree(not actually crap). And I actually went there knowing absolutly nobody,but if everyone acted similar in every game,you'll have no problem making friends and meeting people.I met 2 people from minnesota in that game,along with (im pretty sure was kerrik13 as the host),and some other awesome people.

I plan on going to the freefall event next year(if it's going to be held hopefully),which was also hosted by the same person as op plague(kerrik,I sure as hell hope im right or i'll sound stupid).

where is that event being held cause id like to play airsoft with actual airsofters and to get to know you. internet aint the greatest way...lol lol

on a compeletly different subject if you're getting a team together your going to know wat you got for gear and stuff, like figure out wat you got and wat you need like mags, tactial gear, and positions

There's multiple different fields to play at.The plague game didn't have tons of AEG's though because that was the rule(bring pistols and shotties,we had a ranger and a looter with AEG's though).Plague was hosted at Airsoft Battle Zone(ABZ)on october 7th,and the second game in poynette(APOC,Airsoft/paintball apocolypse)on the 14th.APOC is actually like,40 minutes from my house actually....ABZ is in fairchild,also where the first freefall was held.The round up game this weekend is in APOC I think,Black hawk down games are in the wargame room field(in west allis,an hour from milwaukee).Vigilance is at APOC.

Obviously everything is based on the game type and where it is.So zombie games would usually be limited to shotties and pistols,with regular clothing.Mil-sim type games have more strict rules of uniforms,BDU's for one side,other stuff for the other side,with whatever guns you want(mostly AEG's).The freefall game is actually a LARP type game,based on the tv show firefly....

And yea,internet aint the best way to meet friends.Sadly (or maybe not in my opinion) I wont even be planning on attending any games whatsoever until tempatures rise again,as for i am alergic to the coldness of winta.

The team,if I can pick a name for it i'll be happy.As far as gear I could care less.Requirements would probaly be a pair of woodland bdu's,whatever gear you wanna carry,same with guns.

cool. i live in plainfield, WI which is about 45 min from APOC. id rather play games where you can use AEGs and stuff.

Every field lets you use AEG's,if its in the chrono limit.AEG's are usually 399fps-,snipers are usually 400-550 fps and you must have a spotter within 20 feet of you to shoot,and you must be more than 100 feet from the target.

Those are the usual rules, but they are field specific, so make sure you check w/ the field owner, or make sure the game being held isn't running some special rules, like semi-auto only or something like that.
