For all who attended the last skirmisk for year, it was a total blast.
I'm sorry the hunter started early this year, but capture the flag was fun. It does hone your skills. I'm looking forward to next year. I'm hopping that we can make some new trail in the back section.
PS: The wife was happey we held it on saturday because,Oct 14th is my 61 Birthday and were going out for the day.

DK, the threat of actual death gave the game a new level of anticipation! Although we heard them shooting, it was pretty far off. No harm done.
I'm starting to get the lay of the land, and it was nice actually working as a team to get the job done.
Team 1 (PHR) = 2 Captures
Team 2 (EDS & Company) = 2 Captures
I got some pretty nice kills. A nice way to end the season! It's a pleasure playing at your place. See you next year!
P.S. Capture the flag is always a good backup!

Eagle Shield went in a different direction than we all thought it would because of the hunters nearby but there's not much in airsoft that I enjoy more than some good CTF at Franks field! The first round of the day went for an hour and a half before us PHR were able to bring home the bacon. We then stopped for lunch and the second round EDS and friends schooled us with a full out assault that just beat us down making EDS victorious in 15 minutes, it was well played but risky as Dimitri was able to get your flag as well but you got back to your base with our flag 30 seconds before Dimitri got back to ours with yours, very close!! Round three you smoked us again after about 20 minutes as us PHR struggled to find a defensive stance that worked against your skill and knowledge on the opposite side of the field. Round four went long with many small skirmishes happening but nothing to risky, neither team wanted to lose the last round of the day, specially us:) But in the end a PHR flanking diversion was just enough to shift some attention away from the center line which I choose to approach the flag by and I was able to grab the flag and simultaneously knock out Mach while shooting from the hip! The only reason I'm a little sore today is because I ran back to our base with that bloody flag and about every bush hanging off my arms, legs, and head. All in all it was a great day for airsoft and a good game to end my season on!
Till next year:)
