Hello All
I am an original old school x paintballer. Started way back when Jive Lively started the first tournaments in 83? . Bought and sold more gear than I can ever remembering owning. I have seen the milsim grow faster in airsoft than paintball. I left paintball when the move was on for people not to wear camos but team shirts. Screw that! I still hung around and wrote several scenarios for Paintball Sams and the two day event that The Edge and Action Packed now put called Operation Torch. I like the milsim side of it and hope to bring my talents here. Its what its all about. Hunt and be hunted. I just ordered up the RPK machine gun so the SAWS and 60's will have some company. This way I can use all my combloc gear. I plan on hitting the Nov 4th game at Apocolyps as a Durka. First air soft game for me. I hope its good, otherwise my wife will shove the RPK, you no were. Besides that I reside in SE WIS if anybody has a skirmish goin on.

Welcome to the forums.

I too agree with the reason you say you left paintball. It just doesnt have the thrill airsoft does.We wear camo, they wear team shirts. They dont do the mil-sim type thing airsoft is.I dont think they really know how to play like airsofters do.I like to think airsoft a more interesting sport than paintball, one reson is because theres a factor of trust you need with others.Welcome.

I look forward to jihad'ing many infidels alongside you. The RPK will be a nice addition to any squad. Planning any upgrades on the weapon, other than the aforementioned drum mag?

It is coming modified already. I beleive it shoots 370 out of the box. High torque motor, Marui compatible, all metal gears, All wood furniture and metal receiver. Large battery. An electric drum and one other high cap mag. Sometime between Friday and Monday it will be here. I need to pick up the combloc scope mounting base that goes on the side of AK style guns. I have the low profile mount and a night scope/sight for night play. Seeing I qualify as a fossil, I won't have to take the training course. Sunday Nov 4th for sure, Saturday maybe. As long as nothing weird happens at work.
Does anybody know if a Tokarov pistol is produced for airsoft?

They do make a metal springer tokarev, but it wouldn't be issued in real life along with an RPK; you would want a makarov which they unfortunately do not make.

The closest thing to the makarov is the PPK, so you could either substitute or go without a side arm (which would be correct for a Warsaw Pact or CIS impression).

Hudson makes a GBB Tokarev.

You could always get a CZ-75, that's Eastern Block.

Also welcome to the forums.:D
