Gents,

I don't know if it was the nice weather or the nice people or the nice shooting that made today fly by but whatever it was I can hardly believe I'm sitting at home already writing an AAR for this puppy:) It was a perfect day for some CTF with the swamp in the middle definitely being a swamp, the trails being totally covered in water and mud, and the thickets as thick as ever! I recall during round 1 my senses trying to adjust to the stillness of Franks woods and getting all tense as I waited for the first moves of the day to play out:) It was great meeting some new guys to the sport, you guys played honorably and safely. Also, it was awesome having Dusty and Raspootin shooting and scooting around the field, Jimmy, nice job running with the flag during the first round even though you almost passed out when you got back and thanks to Mark for taking the flag and running the rest of the way for me in round 3 cuz I surely would have died:) Jeff, sorry that you stepped on that hornets nest but I'm glad you're super fast and only got a dozen stings:o Frank, Riley, and the rest of EDS, you guys are awesome and good and there was a span of atleast an hour when we had no clue where you had gone or where you'd strike next, (center line was always guarded cuz of you)! My PHR mates, great job today, you where a top notch squad!!

Good times with guns,
Kenuch

Yea, the time really flew, and it was a great game, on a great field with great peeps. Lawl pwnage, gg, dd, ka. We should definately do this again. Great playing with you all and thanks for the use of the field Frank. A pleasure as always. Nice meeting corster, and his friend(sorry forgot name already..) and putting a face to crazed antelope.

What can I say, it was just another great day. Sorry for the wet spots, next time we use channel 0 and talk to the big guy for some dry weather. At least no one went swiming, or fell in. Nice seeing new faces. Very nice job on your last attack, it was executed perfectly.

Frank you crack me up! I'm glad i was there for the start of the "let's use channel '0' ".

Honestly, very good time. Can't wait for more. Thanks also from myself and Jason for the use of the field. It was a pleasure meeting you all, and as said, putting names to faces (and personalities!) was fun too.

It was too bad we lost (all three times), but i learned very valuable lessons. (beats head on tree :duh: )

Not decided on which event i'll be at next, hope to see you guy again soon.

First, thanks to Dark Knight for use of the field. I was pleasantly surprised by the meager amounts of aquatic saturation (I stayed out of the swamp ;)) and relatively sparse population of insects (I mostly stayed out of the brush).

Second, thanks to Kenuchfleck for setting up a very enjoyable game. Despite the simple concept, I found myself not unloading nearly as many BBs as I thought I would; rather, the day involved lots of sneaking and slow, coordinated movements. Everyone seemed to self-govern well and play honorably, and I got to play with - and against - a great group of guys.

EDIT:
Finally, a BIG thanks to Ian for the bipod. It is much appreciated! :)

I certainly had a fun time running around with my gat all day. Yes, I said gat.

Especially fun was the little waving incident. Those who were there know what I'm talking about. :)

On an interesting side note, I actually shot noone the entire day.

Dustin, I'm glad it's found a good home. :)

PS: Check out my finger-guns in the picture! Whoo-hoo!

Antelope,

My brother was like, "who's that with the gas gun, I hear it shooting all over the field!" I think you would have had a kill in round 2 at your flag base if you were using your M16, I'm actually amazed you stayed alive as long as you did with your gat against a 6 man assault team! And yes, the end of the day team pic just wouldn't be the same without you in it:)
