I was wondering if there is one "big" event held in WI that is looked forward too each year.
Also, do the fields/owners support eacother, or compete with eachother?
I think it would be cool to have one really big even once a year where all of the owners come together to put on the event at one field, which would rotate each year.
Thoughts?

THere really isn't ONE event, but a few re-occuring.
As for field owners, some take a public stnace of "no comment", then secretly try to stab others in the back. Others are genuinly supportave & realize that there is pleanty of bussiness to go around, as long as everyone plays nice.

Wisconsin has a few larger scale series of events that players look forward to each year. Examples of this are Operation Vigilance (Apoc), Op Round Up (Apo), and Black Hawk Down (WarGame Field).
Red Venom 2, we get to look forward to that each year! :D

That's a shame, not uncommon though. Happens in my line of work all the time. Totally uncalled for, espeacially when your not even a threat to them. I hate that.
Thanks for the info. Maybe those that support eachother could put something together.
Action Packed in Waterloo and The Edge in Janseville run a two day event for the last two years. It is a two day continuos scenario event, Except for at night. Its a paintball event but I know APP is allowing airsoft now. Seeing I write this two day event, I can easily see another one wrote for his field. I am not at all saying the other fields scenarios are any less. But I know the owner very well and it could happen at this field. It has a large camp ground also. Here is a youtube link if you want to see what the fields are like.

Op Vigilance and Op Roundup will be on my game date calender every year as long as they continue to be scheduled. I think if you write a game, play it "some where in Wisconsin" and the game is good it will grow into a big event. Gryphons, "Freefall" game takes this one step further with the mini games being played all year long on separate fields but the combined results of these mini scenarios make up the storyline for the big game once a year.
