How many players makeup a standard team? me and some friends were considering starting a team and getting involved in some events or something and we want the basic structure of a team.

Thanks, Storymaker.

THats totaly up to you. Some people think that a team should be at least a squad strength (7). Some say that it should be an entry team (usuially 6). In all reality, it doesn't matter.

If you & your friends want to start one, start one! You can start learning eachother's style differences & personalizing your tactics & if you want to add to your numbers later on, you'll already know the direction you are headed & therefore, what to look for in your recruits.

so i could have up to 12 people if i really wanted to? because we would like to participate in some local events but we weren't sure if there was a limit on players.

Absolutly you could. Most local games wont restrict you from playing with your team & besides, you gotta take into account, not everyone will make it to events.

Work, School, Natl. Guard Duty, Family enguagements.... People have other things that take them away from games, so it's fine to have strength in numbers.

Hell, with 12 people, you could call youself a "Unit" or something. Divide it into 2 squads or fireteams, and seriously get some tactics going. Obviously, the more people you have, the more possibilities. However, the more people you have, the more noticable you are.

Still, I'd love to be part of a group with those kinds of possibilities.

Its different being a team leader though-more of everything, and a lot of damage control if your team gets in trouble or anything.

id rather have a squad of 4 guys( rifleman, support gunner, medic, and a sniper or another rifleman) its in my mind a good set up. im a military freak so i study lots of small squad tactics. plus id rather have a small 4 man team then 12. easier to control and slip by your enemy, but i can see where a 12 man team will come in handy so it kinda depends on your situation

Strength in numbers all the way.I'd wanna hide behind 20 guys rushing up a hill so I can stand behind them all.

The team size depends totally on what you want it to be. Heck, I've heard of some people going out in a two man team and doing very well for themselves...I've also seen a squad of about 12 people totally descimate (sp?) a group of 6 defenders in less than 20 seconds due to their shear fire power...it can work either way.

The main idea is to have fun, so do whatever you and your friends want to...as long as you follow the rules, all others can do is make suggestions...in the end, it's up to you.

It really doesnt matter how many people are in your team.It matters on who you take with you.You could have 100 people in your team, but if you take the 4/6/12/etc. you think would keep a low profile, that's really all that matters.
