Barrel Sock

I couldnt find another thread on this in the search forums,but do you have to have a certain kind of barrel sock on your gun,or can you use anything that will cover the barrel(like a regular sock you put on your foot)?

I believe that the fields requiring "socks" require you to have a paintball "sock" and not just a gym sock. most places that require barrel blockers have them for sale at the games.
To get a definite answer, ask the field owners what their requirements are and if they have "socks" available at the game.

does the barrel sock relate to pistols too,or do you just have to keep them holstered(im sure i read its only AEG's/rifles).Thanks for clearing up not to use a gym sock so i dont look like stupid walking around with a nike sock on a rifle barrel.

Most places will let a pistol slide if it is holstered, but always best to check before going to the field.

alright,thanks for the help.by the way,can you enter any game with a pistol as a primary(unless it specifies to use an aeg),or do i have to have some sort of rifle/aeg.cause right now im having a crap time trading my spring shotgun in for an electric.

I don't believe any games have weapons types specified for your primary weapon, so I'd say you're in the clear.
