I'm not sure where this would go, so please move it if you need too.

I was wondering if anyone was working on getting an indoor place set up. Anything in the works???

Jason has a trailer-home thing at his field, but besides that, I don't know of any indoor places.

For indoor / cqc stuff, normally ya gotta hit up games out of state. No place in Wisconsin really has anything up in place yet.

There was constant talk about putting up / finding places from numerous people, but thats all it was...... talk.

Thanks for the info guys. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if someone opens one up. Maybe when airsoft takes over paintball! ggggg

I wonder if there is enough profet in airsoft yet to justify opening an indoor place. You would think that the Milwaukee or Madison areas would draw enough of attendence to make it worth while. Something to start looking into.

You can talk to Irish on the MAA boards about the profitability and business of an indoor airsoft only facility.

He has opened up a airsoft only indoor facility in Delano MN called Warehouse Airsoft. Fun place.

There’s a large abandoned grocery store not far from where I live. The aisles are still in place, the stock rooms are still full of pallets and racks, the checkout counters are still up, all the walls are intact, and even the deli case is still there.
I would LOVE to see a CQB game there.
I wonder how I’d go about finding who presently owns the lot and talking about renting it.
I doubt anyone would take me up on it, but if you throw enough money in their face, you never know.

There was an airsoft game held in a paintball facility up in... eau claire or osseo, i forget. But it's indoor only (they have a separate field out of town). The only problem was we accidentally deflated like 5 of the 7 doritos(the inflatable obstacles used by paintballers) they had... even though it was under 350fps(not sure if it was from people crashing into them or shooting... they never said). Not to mention the paint on our gear afterwards...

Yeah, the paint gets a little annoying after a bit (I know there's nothing Apoc can do about it, I'm not b****ing). I think there might be profit in opening an indoor facility, but the amount of capital needed to start it off is the particularly daunting side, I believe. But I know when the Burger King near me closes, so we can play there. It's right next to the police station, you can't miss it!

Hey that's funny, I seem to have a large abandoned grocery store a few blocks away from my house too...actually two abandoned grocery stores and an abandoned Walgreens too. All of which I would love to play airsoft in but am not willing to buy the building so...

Back to the topic, I thought there was a indoor paintball place in the Green Bay area that had airsoft games every once in a while.

We have two mobile homes connected side by side on the Fairchild field. It equals about 2000 SQ ft and is a blast to run cqc games in. Holding an AEC and game there on the 26th of this month if your interested. We allow free camping there so if you have a long drive bring a tent and make it a weekend.

maybe we could find an old Apartment building that they are going to take down in a few weeks and ask to rent it for 2 days then Promise to clean up the bb's.

or some thing like that

Most likely their response would be no... Liability comes into question, along with safety.

Which is exactly why I said I didn't think they would take about the grocery store. Still, one could dream.:(

It's not even in Green Bay... Its 35-40 mins north of Green Bay in Abrams. They're moving closer to Sobieski though.
