New Madison WI Resident

Hi All, my name is Chris and I just moved to the Madison WI area a little while back. Anyway, I have always had an interest in Airsoft but have never actually played. I was looking for a group of adults (I'm 35) in the Madison area who wouldn't mind showing the "new guy" the ropes. I don't mind serious competition but I am mostly just looking to try a new sport and meet some new friends. I played paintball for a few years so am farmiliar with basic tactics and I can equip myself to suit the needs of the group.

Anyway, if anyone is in the area drop me a line!!

Not in the Madison area...Milwaukee to be exact, but I'm 51 and there are others like us...Frank (DK) at the Lair, Gary at the War Game Room field, and Jonjay at WisconsinAirsoftWars, etc...come on out and us old folk will be be happy to show you around.

I imagine the AEC is something you'd be interested in. We had one in Poynette just a couple weeks ago, but maybe DS et al will pull another one together soon. I hear it's somewhat taxing to get them running.

welcome to the boards. im from stoughton (13 miles south of madison) and there seems to be a great group of players budding up in the area.

i would also recommend going to an AEC as soon as one in the area pops up.

also, it looks like there's going to be a luncheon for interested madison area airsofters in the near future. i suggest reading up on it in the General Discussion section.

Welcome to the boards and southern WI, freebird. Believe it or not, we share the same birthday. I am just 8 years older is all. I live a tad NE of Madison, just started playing back in January, and have been playing everywhere I can. I hope to trade BB's with you soon.
