Nice Pic A-ron. You're more trusting than I am with expensive cameras. How many of those bbs actually hit you? I'd assume you were zooming from far away.

No, thats at about 10 feet from the claymore... Lets just say that Chase needs to learn to aim a bit more ;)
After feeling the blast from the claymore two times before, I was trusty enough to pull out the camera, and I used the lesser expensive of the lenses I own.

Out of that spread maybe three hit me that I can actually "count." Others may have bounced off of my boots that I did not feel.
The other claymore that was open in the picture was a bit more powerful, and maybe ten or fifteen BBs hit me from that one.

LOL! I didn't even notice the BBs the first time I opened the pic; I was curious why Chase had that <poop>-eating grin on his face. ;) Very nice picture! [:Y:]

I'm also curious how this event turned out....Did people end up using compasses?

I bought a compass just for this event, but I really never used it as it was supposed to be used. At the general location of one of the hints, I used it to be sure we were searching on the correct bearing, but most of the time a sweep of the vacinity would turn up what we were looking for.

A-ron, I love the photo. I got a good chuckle from that.
