AAR-WAA AEC & Afternoon event - May 26th - Fairchild, WI

Thank you to all the players who came out for the AEC I think it is awesome that so many of you put player safety first and came out to complete this course in the rain. Big thanks to Sgt. Schultz (the Marine) and Ryan Jopp (Kerrick 13) for donating the time and energy to make airsoft a safer sport for us all. Also as a field owner I would like to commend the WAA and AEC committee for putting together an airsoft course that is both educational and captivating, the feed back has been A++. Players and parents seem very receptive to the course overall and I enjoy hosting the AEC at my field and value the lessons being taught. We look forward to making this a requirement for players on the ABZ field.

Operation Anger Management: AAR

Yesterday an angry group of California dairy propagandists decided to use violence to get there point across. They armed themselves and took over a Northern Wisconsin cheese factory and held employees hostage. Gov. Doyle attempted to negotiate via Gov. Swartzanegger but they jointly decided the situation is to intense and udderly out of control so termination was the only option. Since the Governator was busy in Cali trying to secure next years supply of cuban cigars they opted to send in the Marines with orders to terminate the situation before arnie gets bad publicity. Unknown to the other parties a group of pissed off Wisconsin dairy farmers heard about this situation and grabbed up there deer rifles and decided to show these title stealin hefers who the big cheese really is.

The Marines were tasked with taking the cheese factory back and saving a hostage from certain death. This hostage was attached to a whey big bomb that had to be diffused before the California cheesehead wannabes blew the curds out of everything around. The Marines quickly aligned with some Angry dairy farmers who provided intel on the factory and hostage inside. Negotiations were attempted but failed and fierce fighting soon erupted. At first it appeared as if the marines would just roll right on in and take the plant back, but then the CP forces rolled up the red carpet and brought out the big guns. The casualties on both sides mounted quickly with the Marines and Farmers advancing and gaining ground only to be pushed back time and time again. At one point it appeared as if the CP forces would drive the marines off the factory grounds in a push that had more fighting than the last CA. Governors election. However the Marines fought back and with the help of the well organized WI dairy farmers began taking ground back faster than you can say cheesehead. After many hours of intense fighting and despite the CP forces having overwhelming firepower it began to appear as though there efforts were just not going to cut the cheese. In the end the Marines took the plant, freed the hostage, diffused the bomb and brought peace back to central Wisconsin cheese makers. The CP forces that escaped alive are rumored to have retreated back to CA for reinforcements and are regrouping for the next big publicity stunt. For the WI dairy farmers and Marines the message is still the same "Cheese Whiz Is Not Real Cheese"

Thanks to all who played along!

I like your tie-in to the next event (or at least I hope it is...) Do you know when you might have another Fairchild AEC?

Thanks to everyone who came out to take the AEC! As an instructor, it was nice seeing that many (15 or 16) people come out to take the course. One player even came out ONLY for the AEC and couldn't stay for the game afterwards. I'm looking forward to getting the next one up and running :)
