OP: Sweet and Sour Pork, WGF-Oct 29th

OK, so I have an Idea for a skirmish that i would like to host in the last week of October. I am posting to see if there are enough people interested in attending.

It goes like this: 3 Teams, Americans, Chinese and Mongolians

The Chinese High command hidden deep in the rough terrain of Northern china along the Mongolian border is secretly building a Sweet and Sour Pork ICBM complex. The complex is disguised as a UTG manufacturing plant! Here they are building a Missel which when exploded will kill everything in the 10mi blast radius.The only cure is to eat a healthy supplement of Sweet and Sour Pork with in the next 2 hours. The americans Objectives are to steal the SSP ICBM
and a healthy supply of SSP from the UTG Manufacturing plant hidden in Gobi desert. Then they are to transport the ICBM warhead to Beijing and explode it.

Mean while the merciless Mongolian forces are attemting to steal the SSP ICBM for themselves and thwart the American and Chinese efforts. after that is done they must transport the warhead to Mongolia for examination. Theyr second objective is also to capture and kill the Chinese president who is hiding in Manchuria, North east of Beijing.

I will also need some volonteers to be Tibetan monks. The monks have no weapons and are peacefull, but they will be hiding quite well, they are the only ones who know the location of the chinese High Command.


so Here is what I need: Americans: Woodland camo top and bottom or OD
Chinese: eveything else
Mongolians:Street Cloththes
2x Tibetan Monks: white robes

Gary: if you still have those 2x4's i made for the BHD skirm I would like to use one for the warhead.

Regen rules, start and end times etc... will all be posted later if I can rally enough support for this game.

Now, would this be at the Wargame field? If so, I will be a Tibetan Monk. I can wear my priest robe, but its still white, so it works. I can be a tibetan monk.

WGR is my first choice for a skirmish area, I just have to clear it with gary first.

Yes, tyou will probably get dirty, I expect you to run away and hide in the bushes mud etc. If you want I can make like some white ponco things out of cloth for you. If you die, then you respawn as a chinese, this game will have multiple parts, the monks will only be needed untill the high command is found.

One more thing, i would like to keep all unnesesary posting out of this thread so those who dont have alot of time on their hands (me) can read it fast an easily.

Chinese can wear any full camo patter besides Woodland (digi or reg woodland) and OD, that includes desert, winter, Urban, subdued urban etc...

Ok, official date, Sat Oct 29th.

Prep and singin time: 1130hrs
Briefing: 1230hrs
Mongolian and Chinese insertion: 1300hrs
After the insertion, the americanms will be briefed and will go!

I will need 2 volonteer's to be Tibetan Monks, they have no weapons, the Americans need to rescue the monks since they hold the key info as to where the Chinese High command is hidden, the Mongolians already know but they will be doing Monk hunting so as to prevent the americans from finding the Highcommand and the UTG factory so they can steal the SSP ICBM warhead and kill the chinese president "pork n-Beans"

When the Chinese president dies he will award the killing team his "Death card" saying he is dead.

As for the scoring system this will be like Fallen Angel:

Each monk is worth 100pts, each captured enemy soldier is worth 50pts, the warhead is worth 200pts, The Chinese presidents death card is worth 150pts.

At the end of the day watever objectives you hold when end-ex is called is what you have that counts toward points.

As for regens, The americans will regen @ a Tower #1 and will need to return in groups of 5, the Mongolians only need to return in groups of 4 from their regen (Tower E). The Chinese however will have a supply of medic cards which will be renewd after each of the 3 segments. If a medic is killed, any foot soldier can revive him by giving the madic a card. The footsoldier then becomes the new medic, and is given the medic cards, the Old medic is now a foot soldier.

If that doseant make any sense, all the WAA rules for medics are outlined in their rules guide. That is what I am going off of for the medic rules.

I will also need someone to fufill the role of the chinese president, once the presedent is hit he will go to the enemy with his kill rag on and give them his death card, if the enemy hasnt already come to him.

As far as the Chinese high command, it will be mobile through out most of the game except in the begining. The UTG Factory, Beijing, and Mongolia are all NON-Mobile locations.

yes, if its at the wargame feild....it is 10 dolla, unless there is a big enough turnout then maybe weget free ____, and its 15 dolla to get in...you also are going to want money for food, and water.....


Logan, you should re-think the monks having no weapon, and change it to the monks having weapons but they must be smaller (IE a pistol, mp-5,g3-sas ect...) because you said that the Mongolians (EMR) would be hunting them...they should at least be able to defend (after all, monks train in tea kwan do)..but you should make rules saying that they only can shoot monglians, and when/if americans capture them they become footsoilder in white for the americans...but if americans kill them, they get re-inserted as monks in a dif. location. If mongolians kill them, they become foot soilder for mongolians (after regening ofcourse) but are still able to be captured by americans <-- maybe not, your call

just something to reconsider...you have final say at the end, just trying to make the monk postiton more appeasable..because as it seems, being a monk would suck from my point of veiw...LOL

I'd assume your right.

Monks are peace loving people, or are suppose to be that. If we were to stick a gun in their hands, then they become just as bad as the person hunting them. IF YOU DO decide to put a gun in the hands of one of the monks (assuming we rally enought support) its should only be somethng lite. Not an AEG or an AEP, rather that a single shot pistol comparable to a springer.

This is looking to be pretty good, so here it is, I AM starting a roster from this point on, ANYONE who knows that they can come for sure,

Post you Name, Callsign and preferred team.

I will be keeping track on paper, I will post the roster when Game day is nearing.

I will have the entry fee up soon enough, after I decide weather i would like to have a raffle or not, and discuss it with gary.

As for the monks, I believe they are buddists, and follow that path by showing love and compassion to all creatures, even Mongolians, it would be very unethical for a Tibetan Monk to shoot at someone. Though the monks will only be inplace for the beginning part of the game. I am making some white poncho things for them, if a monk is killed he will remove his poncho, put on a kill rag and respawn as an american. If the Monk is captured by an american, he will first be indoctrinated with our american Ideals and then be assimilated into our US forces. So in essence he will remove his "robes" under which will lie all the americand camo, combat gear and guns every american should have.

So if you want the Role of a monk try and bring a small gun that you can sling at your side (G3-SAS, Mp5-k/PDW/A5, TMP, etc...) under a robe or even a pistol.

As for the Chinese presidant I would like if you could wear a suit, but hey whatever works.

As far as winter games goes KA-JJ, they arn't that bad as long as you dress warm. I havn't had my gun lockup on me yet (electric gun) due to cold weather and my boys and I have played in -10 degree weather before. Granted we warmed up our guns after every "scenario" that we played, but it was well worth it. Winter games give you a whole new aspect to learn about with airsoft and movement and such.

On with the game, Um... Yeah, I'll have to go with Mongouwian on this one (ha ha ha.. yeah, inside joke) and my sole duty will be to get the alleged monks who know the secret to success of my sweet an' soup pourk recipe!
