Been toying with this idea in my head for a while... it planted itself there while searching for bloody body parts and such for my zombie-style game. This would be played around halloween, probably.

The basic premise of the game is this... judgement day has basically come to earth. Dark energies have entered this worth and hellish creatures such as zombies, ghouls, werewolves, and vampires reign supreme on earth. All the people worth saving have been evacuated, and you are one of the unlucky ones left behind. The survivors group together along with some military and attempt to fight a last ditch war against evil creatures.

I played a boardgame like this a long time ago and it was a lot of fun. The main part of the game would be the survivors (both civilian based and military) and an army of evil creatures such as zombies (slow moving, easy to hit, come back to life often), ghouls (basically normal players that shoot guns and such, but are evil), werewolves (guy in a suit who tries to touch attack players to kill them and is only killable by a silver prop weapon), and vampires (normal looking players with a "heart" killzone attached to their chest and back). Missions would be survival based or "hunt the powerful creatures", such as wade through an army of zombies in order to take out the vampire that controls them.

Haven't put any thought into this besides what I just stated... any feedback on if there is interest or not?

This would be a great halloween game, especially if could be set somewhere with a lot of "abandoned" buildings. With enough wheedling and hoop-jumping, I think we could probably get the Wisconsin Renaissance Faire grounds in Chippewa Falls for an event like this - it's a walled village with dozens of smallish house-like structures. It would make a good theme for a halloween charity fundraiser.

I would be in on this. The new ECO-BIO BB's are now out so the Ren fair grounds would be great. Let me know if you decide to move on this and we can help with props and such.

This sounds pretty cool, let everyone know when (or if) you plan on doing it.

this has to be the 3rd i think thread i commented on thats been buried under a few months.

I think people would prefer this game compared to the resident evil type games. The RE types might have nemisis characters and big ugly mofo's with humoungous weaponry, but thats it.Its either an all zombie game or an all zombie game with one big ass dude whos a little harder to take out.

This type of game would have more different enemies which are harder to kill. The zombies are a must obviously. Then theres the werewolves who need to be gored with a ruber silver knife,or a springer spraypainted silver. Then the vampires who need a heart shot to go down.I bet if people really wanted a game like this, they'd all do something to help, like with props, costumes,or even helpin get the fair grounds if that's what you were going for.Or what if you got an indoor place like a haunted house and be like "your trapped and although the windows aren't locked you cant escape, you must still try"and then eventually there'll be some way to escape,DURING the time the biggest ugliest meanest monster you ever seen is chasing you.You then run down a hall you been down 50 times before and find a rocket launcher to blow it up.Sorta like the ending of the first resident evil game.

Thats beside the point, and a little dangerous. But still it would be cool. Now that I think of it I got another idea....
