Events Ideas Discussion

I think that the Events Ideas Discussion or at least the description should be changed due to the fact that I have posted a couple of scenarion ideas and the title misleads people into thinking that when someone posts a scenario/ mission idea, they are actually planning it. This has happened to me before and I get bombarded with information that an event organizer would need, and it's very useful info don't get me wrong, but I am not planning on organizing an event anytime soon. For example, the "Vietnam Scenario" post i made. I made it clear that it was just an idea, and everybody thought that I was planning it. I'm sorry if I come off like I'm annoyed when people give me advice, but it's information that's meant to help event organizers.

Perhaps the ideas of others was intended to expound on your initial thought, to assist not only you, but anyone else who may decide to plan a game off of that idea.

Of course, those posts would most likely be directed towards you, since it was your initial idea & therefore, your right, to hold an event baised on it.

The event ideas section is, in my opinion, made to do exactly what has happened to you. It's for people to post an idea for a game, and to have people post along with the idea to either help the person get it going or give some ideas for other event organizers.
