Overrall i think the idea of it was great. I kept everyone from really engaging other teams. The whole idea for starting with pistols and having to buy your primarys back is cool same with buying ammo. It is kinda like counter strike in a way.

But i think each player should start with 100 more bb's so there will be a little bit more action.

Thanks for the great game gary!

I'd have to agree. It was defiantly a great game idea. My sidearms hardly ever get a workout, and this was a great opportunity to let them see some action. I just wish my Hi-cappa was working.

Anywho, I liked the idea of being able to allie with different teams and decide on your own course of action, either confrontational or otherwise. It was nice to have a change if pace in which I really had to think about if I wanted to waste a BB trying to make a shot.

All in all, it was a great idea that I would defiantly show up to again.

I learned a lot from this first time game of this type. I am going to plan a Deathland 2100 part II which will be coming soon. I will incooperate some of the ideas that we discussed in the AAR briefing after the game yesterday.
I know will only two Supply Traders it was hard to keep the stashs supplied. I know I am good and tried from all the running to keep them supplied.
I will get part II up and running soon.

I have to agree, great game guys!:) I really enjoyed the scenario, you didn't have alot of spraying and praying, because no one had any ammo to waste, yet on the other hand, in some situations, other people popped off their 100 rounds quickly, even with a pistol. I didn't even fire a shot until about 2:45! This was one of the best I've been to, alot of honest players (excluding a few) out there today, and I had alot of fun. I just wish I'd have worn my boonie hat, now I'm all sunburned! Gary, thanks for the great scenario, and for the use of the field, it was awesome (despite mud) Hopefully see you all at, if not before Fallen Angel III.

Well all Green Ghost here, and what a great day for a event at WGF. Since you have read the event scenario I will go straight into the event..

Our small band of adventurers met up at my house at 0700hrs
1.Myself ( Green Ghost)
2.Ilocosr
3.Toggle 47
3.Mungaloid
4. Brian ( Mung's friend)
5.Yoroiden

We got to the field at 0900hrs, and un packed .. registered and cronoed everything ran smooth with no snags
The players were broken down into 4 team of 6 so a total of 24 personnel were there we were given 100Rd's for our first ammo load so our team had 600Rd's between the 6 of us. we were armed with shot guns pistols and sniper rifles... no AEGs. The object was to collect credits that were hidden on the field in the warlords areas or barter for them with the warlords. we used ranger tactics to move and not be seen which played in our favor.. when the other team were shooting at each other and the warlord we would sneak in grab the credit and sneak back out.. the warlords started to attack and again we stayed low reason being you had to buy your respawns with the credits you had collected , or buy your AEGs and or ammo .. we saved our credits for respawns.. we were attacked several times by the warlords when they did catch us stealing their credits.. we took second place in the scoring with 600 credits , but we had to but 6 respawns..LOL... but over all it was a great day at the WGF ...I would do it again !!!!!!!!!! now to my 3 ups and 3 downs

3 ups
1. Well organized, set up and run
2. rule and directions for the event were clear and understandable
3. great weather !!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 downs
1.got lost on the way up...LOL
2.needed more people to show up ( Hint to all of you out there! )
3.The marsh...LOL... Crazy deep mud (Yoroiden got stuck up to his hip) but I love playin in the mud

Great Day with great friends!!!!!! definitely worth the trip !!!! none of us went through our initial load of ammo and we had a great time.... got to practice our stealth techniques and movement formation and still got to throw some BBS down range . Here is the link for the pic I took enjoy

I had a great time as well. Having only 100 rounds really makes you think twice about engaging anyone. Each BB was precious, and so was each credit. Granted we all love to shoot, but in this game you really needed trigger control and a plan.

My team decided to fight as little as possible and just keep moving. We used our credits to get 1 AEG, respawns, and I believe only 300 more BB's. We also decided the one AEG would be enough and treated it more like a support weapon. The pistoleers (like me) or the shotgunners led the way with the AEG covering the rear and coming up once we had engaged someone. I played all day with just my HFC M190, and it was really fun. I think moving quickly really helped us come out on top at the end of the day. That and we toughed it out and did not take a lunch break.

My hat is off to GaryB and Dover for playing the traders all day. You guys did a great job. The only improvement I can suggest is having one more trader. Then again, you don’t want to have too many traders. Then there would be too many credits available.

It was a real pleasure playing with the "southerners" (Green Ghost and company). You guys play well with honor and are great to hang out with in the safe area, too.

By the way, all the mud on me was to cool me off and provide extra camo. It only LOOKED like I fell in the creek.;)
