AAR: Operation Nostromo III 4-28-07

great gane guys. i gotta head out now ill write more later!! it was a great day of airsoft and i would like to thank everyone who ran the game and made it possible!!!

So... tired... need rest... :P

Wow, talk about a fun day! The storyline for Nostromo 3 was great. I loved the fact that multiple clans were divided and could be overwhelmed but when they combined, they were a mighty foce to be reckoned with. After trying to open up discussions with the Strong Arm clan near us, we decided to take advantage of the UN inspector leaving the area and unleash our full force on them... we used a "diplomacy with bullets" strategy :)

I still couldn't believe how a bunch of people never started the assault on our base right before lunch because I stalled them with a megaphone! That was great! I just kept yelling "Lay down your weapons and turn back, attacking the CDF firebase is against UN human rights sanctions" through the megaphone at the advancing assault force. According to Todd and a few others, some people stopped their advanced, looked confused, and were asking about what they were supposed to do... tons of fun!!! :)

Then there was the "after lunch massacre". The CDF had about 10 guys and put up against 24, we could do nothing but run and try not to die during the last mission. It appeared that the government forces were no match for the god girl and her fanatical followers! :P It was a lot of fun trading BBs with everyone and I had an absolute blast today.

btw if someone found a g3sg1 bipod laying around its mine... let me know if it turns up. i have looked throguh all of mystuff and i cant find it but it maybe with some of my other guys stuff. but either waylet me know if anything turns up...

Great game guys, we got lots of pics at the ABZ site and am still working on putting up more. Gryphon will do a full blown AAR soon I believe. Sorry major no bipod but I do have a blue silk pillow case with two pairs of ESS goggles some anti fog paste and a sanyo small 8.4 600mah battery contact us if you are missing this.


The scenario for operation Nostromo was awesome. The Ancestor Ghost clan had to get all the tribes (5) to unite as one force and fight off the cdf (.gov) forces. This created a layed back first half of the game as the tribes were in the hills negotiating treaties. By lunch the tribes had united and pooled resources creating a force to be reckoned with. After lunch was a run and gun game for the cdf with the tribes quickly forcing them to retreat off the beach and into the Mountains. The god girl (leader of the tribes) had us cut off any further retreat or escape by splitting her forces and sending them in from three seperate directions. The afternoon massacre then ensued with the UN forces reporting that there were no cdf survivors. Great game all.
