Awesome day today! Myself and Sergeant Lucas Schultz of the USMC (who is now a brand new still shiney WAA member) got up to speed on how to run an AEC (the actual course is quite fun!) and we were able to socialize with some of the kids that showed up last weekend at the Fairchild, WI opener game. Not a lot of people showed (4 kids total) but that worked out really well for myself and Sergeant Lucas Schultz getting our feet wet with being an AEC instructor. A total of 8 people took the course and completed it; the four younger aged kids, two other Marines who were there to assist and socialize, and two girlfriends/wives of airsofters... not bad for the first Eau Claire AEC! Afterwards, one of the Marines (Corporal Levi _____... I forgot his last name lol) was teaching some CQB tactics to some of the players on the field. I had some socializing and much driving to do before my night was over, so I missed out on the lesson :( Much thanks to Brad (Ghostbear) and Aaron (A-Ron) for coming waaaaay out and helping get an Eau Claire area AEC up and running!

I Agree ^^^^
And Corporal peck is the last name. We just got back and I would like to thank all who came but a special thanks to A-ron and Ghostbear for really going the extra mile for airsofters in the Eau Claire area.

Thanks,
I just got home as well. You can see by the time posted that my drive was a bit more than some :)
Anyway, I was very pleased with the new Jr. Instructors, They handled the material with great interest and will be excellent additions to the cadre of instructors.
Congratulations, and Bravo to Ryan and Sgt. Schultz on a job well done today (well actually yesterday).
And as for the field at Fairchild, I think this is going to be a great field and with all the plans that are on the blocks for it, I think it will be one of the premier fields in the state.
Cudos to Jason and Judy as well. The day went smooth, and the course was well done.
Thank you all that participated and congratulations to the first graduating AEC class of 2007.

Great time, and a great event. Thanks to GhostBear & A-Ron for showing up. Thanks again to Jason & Judy of Airsoft Battle Zone for the use of thier field.
Cpl Peck gave some great CQB classes, and lead the new Airsofters in some Prac.App. (I have the marks to prove it! lol )
Overall I see great things to come for the WAA, Airsoft Battle Zone, the Marines, but more importantly, to the players! IMO That's what this is about.

I wanted to be there :( But I'll certainly make the next one... I heard how the new course is ran and I loves it.
Oh, there is one thing I see not having a great thing this year though... that HMMWV :D
