Sniper showdown

I am thinking of putting on an event just for snipers, it would be a sniper showdown. They would all start on the field, move stealthly and search like crazy for any type of movement of target. There could even be game scenarios but it would be only snipers or long range AEG's on semi-auto with a scope.

There would be no spotters (no AEG's) and each sniper can carry a PISTOL, Semi-auto ONLY.


I am thinking of the idea and putting a game together, just looking for input and opinions.

they should have to capture an object in the middle of the field and bring it somewhere stealthly. Sounds like something i'd try out

You should have spotters.

If for no reason then it is safer.

But, they could be the person that has to go into an open field and GET the item, the sniper can provide cover and the other guy gets shot. :)

I more so agree with ghostbear...

Not because it's an AEG to help me out of a tight position, but because he's another set of eyes to help me, and he also confirms targets and distances because there have been times looking down the scope that there were no binocular cues to tell distance from the position I was in because I was so low to the ground... but my spotter caught it 3 feet to my left, a bit higher on the slope.

And yeah, he could also be the decoy to help you either kill the other sniper, or retrieve the items.
