It's been a wierd two years with this sport. Things started out great and got greater, and then took a real **** dive while I was gone in basic training and AIT. I guess my biggest reason for leaving (truthfully) is when Nighstalker, Rogue, and Gunney dropped out. Honestly I hadn't really thought about why I really played the sport much while I was doing it, but in the end it was only because of the people I was playing around. If it wasn't for people like Timmay, Nightstalker, Rogue, and Gunney (You too Beest!) I would have quit a long time ago. Bear, you and Archos and Bourne don't count because I can hang out with you guys at home.

Anyway. I never took this game seriously and I never wanted to. And yes it's sick to admit that when those 25 page "flame wars" took place I was always laughing hysterically at them, and turned into a troll of sorts. But why not? It's just a bunch of people spending money on toy guns so they can run outside and plink each other with little pellets. Don't get me wrong, some of ya need the exercise ( :P) . The sport just doesn't have the fun it used to. And I really don't care what anyone says, milsim doesn't really appeal to me. I really wish there were more games that were just "you ****ers go here, you ****ers go there, now shoot each other until someone cries". To me Army time is army time and fun time is fun time, and this sport tring to mix the two seriously is really getting on my nerves. Now there are plenty of you that I'd rather kick in the face, and there are plenty of you that I will miss. UNFORTUNATELY THERE ARE GREATER NUMBERS OF THE FORMER. Hur durr burr fuurrrr 9_6.

Phew. I think I've rambled enough. I may be a jerk and a prick but I was here to make people laugh, and that was about it. TFD made me laugh. But TFD is changed and I've stepped down. With TFD gone to me there's not much of a reason to stick around anymore. I don't want to be rude with anyone before I leave so I've kept it as civil as possible. (Believe me, it's hard, I'd like nothing better than to fire up some extreme nerd rage before I go. :P)

There is fun time and there is real Military. One you get paid for one you do as a hobby. I don't mix biz with pleasure and I left the Army YEARS ago and don't want to go back. Time to be on a team that we don't have to do a damn thing. We play when we want or we do nothing for 10 months because we feel like it or have other hobbys too. lol Keep in touch with Rogue if you got his phone number. Bear does.
