GREAT game Gary, I was happy that I was able to make it down. I had a lot of fun and I got a lot of kills with my new g36. Now I just have to dry out (walking in the creek wasnt the greatest, it is a never ending mud-pit under the water :D )

Yes, whoever was taking pictures and videos, please post them...

Thanks for the field and games Gary!

I guess I'll just start this one up myself.

Anyhow, game was great. Pity my gun stopped working again (4 out of the last 4 games with it!), and I had to go pistol. Sorry to the folks who got hit too close etc. (Stylin, was that you?) Nice to see everyone out and about, too.

Thanks Gary for setting up the game and letting us use the field. The game concept was great and VERY action packed. Even with the longer phases I didn't even notice they where longer. ;) Can't wait for the next game. ;)

Patience is a virtue that everyone should learn... give them time to upload the pics and edit the video. I know most of the people who were taking pictures were from Illinois so they had a nice long drive home...

Hondo here from Toxic6. It was a pleasure to play with and against you all. The event was great and the firefights were awesome. As soon as we get the pics and video uploaded, I will post the link to our website.

I couldn't have asked for a better event for my first time airsoft-ing (that correct?). I really like the field, and everyone I talked to was awesome.

Yeah man, who were you? Help us out here!

Good to meet you, Rattler, by the way. Pity, I don't think we ran into each other on the field though.

I wish we would have, maybe I killed you in the last phase when we were shooting you guys as you would spawn and run to 2, lol, that was fun, who was in that bunker with me? one of you had an AUG with a custom 2,000? round mag on it, it looked very nice and I wonder how you did it that it worked that well... Anyway, I plan on attending the game on the first so whoever is there, we will meet again, hopefully on the same team ;)

Thanks

I'm Ian. I was in "Alpha Squad." I had the helmet and the SR-16.

I was pinned down with the guy who had the AUG hopper. It seemed to work really well, at least the few times we were able to pop our heads up.

Meh, I think just about everyone killed me in the last phase.

Funny thing is, I was camping the white box just by where you were all moving in. I was about to bang a few guys (get your mind out of the gutter!) when somebody rushes me and fires about 20 rounds into my neck. :(

Ok, I was the leader of Alpha, it was a pleasure working with you and I could have never told that it was your first time airsofting, you did very well along with Andrew, you have a PM inbound...

I had a great time running with you on the field. SAS is lucky to have you as a commander.

Glad I didn't seem like a total newb. I guess my paintball experience did transfer to airsoft.

ahh that last phase was crazy. I think I died about 20 times. I got quite a workout from running back and forth from the respawn :s

Hey Guys.
Gary, great game + scenario
Just so everyone knows I was the guy with the s-system, Walmart red dot, Pvc silencer, + homemade M203. My friend was the guy with the AUG and custom drum mag like thing... He isn't on these forums as of yet but I can tell you how it works. Basically, he took a TM hicap (currently his only mag) and used a dremel (yeah) to cut a hole in it. Using guerilla glue and eventually just my electrical tape at the field he was able to attach a PVC elbow joint which screwed into a cheap old square-shaped .12 BB container. After doing that he used a piece of wood and some nuts and bolts to make a cover. He then painted it and was finished. this thing is pretty much impossible to picture if you didn't see it at the field. Once I get him on these forums, maybe I could get him to post up some pictures of it. A cheap, creative and effective way of loading BB's. (plus he thought of it all by himself; I was proud)
CrazedAntelope I think I was bang-killed with you in fort two... idk good times. I hope I can get there on the first.

Yeah, i got quite a workout trying to find out where respawn was, for like 30 min the guys at 2 and me were convinced that tower 5 was tower 6 until we eventually got run down. I liked that last phase personally, i got probably the most kills in that one scenario than in the entire game just by sitting in that tower. I suppose it does help to have a 3,000 round C-mag. Good stuff.

I feel like also adding that the scenario where the black-caps were attacking fort two, that I had the most fun sitting inside of B picking guys off as they left the hotel spawn. I forget who killed me finally, but I do remember that some guy with a saw ran out while i was in the tower and pegged me in the head, then shouted something to the effect of "YEAHHH". Nice shot, lucky (insert choice word here). ^__^

I had a great time, lots of running back and forth, not much camping. Good game, thanks to all who showed up and made it so. Man I gotta get a c-mag for my MP5k....

yes, it was a very fun time....
and i cant wait to see the vids that the toxic guys took. i totaly forgot aboiut the camra that iw as running aroiund all in my pocket with..sigh...

i have no clue hom many times i got killed....in the last event i would spawn and go in with a group..get hit and back to the start to chat with gary....
most of the day i had the problem with seeing anything..that sucked and its even worst when you caNT EVEN SEE WHERE YOU WALK MOST OF IT...
i really need to try the soap trick on glasses for the next event so they dont fog up...

if anyone wonders the first game i was running around with the bolt action rifle on the us side and an assiue style hat. the next round i ran a pistol only..
they last game i had to pull out the ak-47....

it was fun thouh...

I had lots of fun Gary. The M4 crapped out but I had the M14 and it worked like a charm. My favorite kill was the head shot through a small window from about 60 yards. I really enjoyed getting pinned down by the '60 as we assaulted tower 2 as well. I've never had snow actually kicked up into my face like that from bb's. Anyhow it was an awsome game for me, though some of my team mates did horribly. I've never gotten so many kills. I hope this holds me 'till July.

You've gotta keep your finger off the trigger while in a safe zone. Regardless of if theres a mag in it or not, you don't know, 100% all the time, if there is still a round chambered or not.
AD's do happen, and YES I've personally had them happen where I'm not even touching the trigger and its on 'safe.'
