Thanks to Team GOPMAT for letting us use the field and setup a great game. Us Venezuelans may have got our butt's kick but later in the day we kicked the U.S.'s . The real fun moment of the day was shooting the hostage with a firing squad...he...he... ;) And once again happy birthday Iron Will!!!

I'm glad everyone had a good time.

Here's a run down of the days events.

Game started about 45 minutes late, which is typical.

Scenario 1 had the US forces protecting their radio tower from a venezuelan attack, the venezuelans got massacred, as the us force decided to do more attacking than defending.

Scenario 2 The US forces had to capture the venezuelan embassy, at some point in the game, the UAV was shot down, bot theams had to recover the intel that was on board, the US team split into two groups from the start, and attacked the embassy from the west and north, the northern group left 1 man to cover the road leading towards the uav crash site, and sent two men too look for it.

The US solider guarding the trail came under heavy fire and managed 2-3 kills over a period of about 5 minutes, finally being taken out, but only after the uav was recovered.

The US force then regrouped and attacked the embassy, slowly taking everyone out, one venezualan (the last one) in the top floor managed to hold off 3-4 US soliders for nearly 30 minutes before getting hit.

This was the longest scenario of the day, and went much longer than anyone anticipated.

Lunch break was great, Iron_will's wife brought a huge batch of cocoa mix, not to mention some excellent cookie bars and brownies, we also had a cake on hand for Iron_Will's B-day. Hope you had a good one Will.

Scenario 3 This was the last scenario of the day, having completed all their objectives so far, it was anticipated that the US force would whoop the venezuelans and extract the hostage. This was not to be.

The venezuelans put up one hell of a fight, at first things were moving slow, and it looked like the US was in position to win again. Eventualy the venezuelan side came alive, splitting the US forces in two and a group of US and venezuelans kept trying to out flank each other by going southwest, they nearly ended up at the staging area before the last US solider was killed.

Meanwhile the remaining venezuelans had trapped the remaining US forces against their respawn, and the river, it was a slaughter.

At the end of the day, the Us had completed 3 objectives; maintain a base of communication, recover the intel, and secure the embassy. But failed to extract the hostage, which was the only thing the venezuelans managed to accomplish all day.

It was a great game. Thanks to everyone who made it. I'm also happy I kept Shadow (my wife) warm all day thanks to those Heat Factory warmers. :D

Just so everyone knows (especially dial-up users) this file is 77mb. This will take a long time download. On my 1.5mpbs connection, it took about 10 minutes. Dial up will take forever.
