March 10th SAS will be hosting a game, the scenario has not yet been determined, possibly a WWII game.

March 31st is the Wisconsin Airsoft Expo. Umm... I don't think I've heard of any other events so far though in Wisconsin.

Hey Rattler...please provide more details.

BTW, why do you have the WAA logo as your avatar and are not a WAA member? Just wondering...

Its my temporary avatar untill I can get mine taken and resized, or one of the field or team operation.

There is not yet any set scenario for the game yet, however it will probably be a "Battle of the Bulge" or something similar. The times would be 11:30 briefing to 5pm ending.

I will keep you posted on the scenario.

Thanks

Hey Rattler...please provide more details.
...

As of now, the scenario is in the "formation" process by our events planner. The WWII theme is simply one that is being toyed around with right now. One aspect that has a good chance of showing up is a D-day sort of settup...a few "Germans" with machine guns in almost invulnerable nests defend an open field that the "good guys" have to cross...

That is all we have for specifics for now, but you can also anticipate more rules that are geared to a "mil-sim" type of game...i.e. ammo limits, very few in any respawns, etc.

If this is no longer true, feel free to correct me, Rattler.

Yes we are also planning on doing a possible "Normandy Invasion" in 2007 and it may fall in the march slot. Respawns will be very limited along with ammo. The rules will be as follows;

6 man American GI Squad:
1 gunner (heavy AEG, resembles BAR) 1 AEG, 1 pistol
1 team leader (Lieutenent, squad commander, thompson resemblence) 1 AEG, 1 pistol
3 team members, semi auto only (resembles M1 garand or carbine)
1 sniper (single shot, preferably pump or bolt)

Germans:
Germans will run individually or just in little clusters, the rules of gun modes (ie semi/full auto) has not yet been determined.

This is not the final fact, just a preview of what it will be.
