Hi all. I just played in my first airsoft game yesterday at the Wargame Room's field. I had a great time and felt very welcome. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and very willing to let me check out their gear.

I am 43, married with 1 child, and do not expect to keep up with you youngsters. I am new to airsoft, but I began playing paintball in the 80's before constant air existed. After many years of play including being a team captain and a head tournament judge, I gave up paintball due to needing to focus my spending on my family. Now I think I'll be finding a good amount of my spare time (and disposable income) invested in airsoft.

Thanks to information I gleaned off this forum and others, I decided getting a good weapon right away was the way to go. Last Saturday I bought a TM MP5A4 with a 1800mah 8.4v battery. It worked flawlessly yesterday.

I look forward to trading BB's with more of you in the future. Now I better go get to work on a cool signature.

Wow, finally a new player older than me. (not saying I'm the oldest, but I'm one of the ones up there).

Great to have you on board! Hope to see you on the field soon. Where in this lovely state do you call home?

Welcome, welcome, welcome. It's nice to see a little more equilibrium in the playground.

If you're looking for an EQ siggy, this site (http://www.equilibriumfans.com/eq-avatars-sigs.htm) has some really, really, good ones. Although you may have already seen them, your avatar is from there . . .

Yes, Professor, I had on a a digital ACU top. I'll have the pants by the next time I play too. Unfortunately, the last few years have seen me grow a bit wider and my old camo shirts no longer fit, so i had to hastily pick one up for that game.

Downslide, I live in the little village of Hustisford, which is 12 miles west of Hartford and 42 miles NW of Milwaukee.

Yes, Equilibrium is one of my all time favorite movies, too. I read that someone actually custom built some airsoft pistols like the modified Berettas used in the movie. But I also read they were very limited in production and are no longer being made. I'd love to get some pistols like those.

Thanks for the welcomes all.

Hmm, I do not know where Germer's farm is, though I know the name. I have only lived here for 8 years. It takes me about 10 minutes to walk to the boat landing in the park. Too bad you're not still playing out here.

Germers is in the near area of the lake...if I remember correctly his farm borders the west side of the lake. The island was awsoem to play on...especially the ruuins of teh barn. Then the ponderosa firefights later......aaaaah....the good ole days.
