i just bought a m16-a1
and it does have barrel wobble

just wondering other than buying a tightbore barrel what are my options (if any) to keep the wobble down untill i can get some money to put into the gun???

i am just looking for a temporary solution so i can at least take it out to 1 skirm and get a feel for the gun

I'm not sure if the temporary fixes are the same for the A1 model compared to the M4s and the A2, but a tightbore inner barrel doesn't factor into barrel wobble.

correct me if i am wrong... but
the term barrel wobble applies to the outer barrel moving around because it is not tight against the body of the gun. as jun wen said, a precision barrel will have no affect in fixing a barrel wobble problem.

your best bet it to try tightening the screws closest to the reciever that hold the outerbarrel assembly to the gun.

right the barrel wobble does have to do with the outer barrel sorry i was not thinking...

however i do have a temporary fix untill i buy a few new peices... (next week) to tighten the barrel in the gun

thank you guys for the help
