2007 Pistol Game

Who here would be interested in a pistol game in late spring (around April-May) at SAS field?
It would be either a gang war or LAPD shootout type battle. Pistols only, also accepting any input or ideas.

SAS has plans for alot of sweet games planned . We will be having a BHD(please, don't say we are copying the WGF's game) sceduled for spring and a D-Day type game. We have alot of suprises too, Rattler can tell you some if he wishes.

Our BHD will be our unique version, we will do it after the movie where we can. We will also be trying to get real military personal to help us plan it out and possibly have a real (small) convoy to work with. It is still in the planning stages and will be held in mid-2007. But now that is a whole new subject right there. As for a pistol game, we will have 1, maybe 2 per year.

That reminds me, will you be allowing more than one pistol per person? also, I take it there are NO full auto or three-round burst pistols allowed as well?

I did a game similiar to this last year, just to get people a chance to dust off their pistols and give them a chance to use them.

You probably will be asked by people OVER AND OVER to make exceptions for the rules, and in the end it is your game, but a pistol is a pistol.

Good luck on the idea, when I hosted the game it turned out decent in my opinion, but it was ideas on my part that failed.

Well, I would not allow shotguns, pistols ONLY. hmm... do YOU HAVE a 3 shot burst pistol DKRuse? I most likely will not allow it because the only difference between an AEG and a pistol (in most cases) is the barrel length and the full auto, and the MP5k inner barrel is shorter than my TM 1911.


You can have more than 1 pistol per person as long as you do not use more than 1 at a time.


The field is in Sheboygan County, (Southern half).


Other rules (not all of them):
- NO mags over 30 rouns
- 10 foot bang rule
- NO full auto

- optics ARE allowed on the pistols

I personally don't, but the M93R does shoot 3-round bursts(as well as some models having an unofficial full-auto). I was just checking (I have a team mate that might be picking one up).

I will be there for sure. As far as what guns are allowed I would think that any pistol, wheather it be auto or burst should be allowed, but no hi-cap magazines. Also no AEG of any type. The whole H&K MP series therefore being illegal. Just my input, I'll be there regardless. Jakael

all pistols would be pretty sweet... we could maybe do a cops and robbers hostage situation i've been working on. Check it out:

Storyline:

The police are investigating a possible homicide while they get a call from headquarters reporting that an entire bank has been robbed and approx. 20 people have been taken under hostage, and 5 bags of money are in their possession. Immediately responding to this call, the police find themselves outside of the bank negotiating. Responding to their megaphones, the robbers toss out a bloody, battered hostage. Dead, no doubt. So the police send in the S.W.A.T. team.

Uniforms:

S.W.A.T. - Black
Robbers - Gray

Primary objectives:

S.W.A.T. - Infiltrate the bank and save at least 11 hostages (if more than 9 hostages are left behind, S.W.A.T. fails)

Robbers - Kill all of the S.W.A.T. team, leave none alive (except for hostages)

Secondary objectives:

S.W.A.T. - Capture at least 5 robbers for questioning
Robbers - Keep at least 11 hostages. If more than 9 hostages are rescued, robbers fail. (to conflict with the S.W.A.T. primary objective)

Tertiary objectives:

S.W.A.T. - Save at least 3 bags of money
Robbers - Save at least 3 bags of money

Points:

S.W.A.T.:
Primary objective - 500 points
Secondary objective - 400 points
Tertiary objective - 250 points

Robbers:
Primary objective - 500 points
Secondary objective - 400 points
Tertiary objective - 250 points

So even if the S.W.A.T. completes their primary objective, the robbers can still win with the secondary and tertiary objectives.

All that needs to be figured out now are what to use for hostages. (Hostages can be given guns if real people are used).
