New member here, and just wanted to say hello :)

I have been into airsoft for some time now, and have decided to sign up and see about joining WIAirsoft. My brother and I are very interested in joining a few and many games that are being held by you guys :)

A little background on my brother and I. We live in Neenah, right near the Neenah High School. As for weapons, we have a WE Hi-Capa 5.1, KWC Mac-11 (needs new mag seals, as well as hop-bucking), (2) Crossman Co2 Sigma handguns, and lastly, a (broken) M324 (with teflon mod.. Has a broken sear)

We are ordering our primaries very soon, those will be a TM G36C (my brother's) and I will be getting a TM SG-1. Those we should be getting within the next few weeks :)

As for me, I am 17, and turning 18 in February (13th), and my brother is 22. I am really into sniping and/or being a DM. Here is my myspace for a little more info. Also, I have a photo of myself in my ghillie/sniper gear. www.myspace.com/jscaylor

First, welcome.
second, my best advice, go to a couple of games, check out the teams that are out there. Once you see the variety that WI has to offer (teams wise that is) you can make an educated decision on what type of team you'd like to join.

We will do our best to get into a few scrims as soon as we can. Can't wait to meet some fellow airsofters :D

If anyone is wondering about that paintball picture, its because I like both airsoft and PB, but right now, Im transitioning to airsoft, as I prefer it much more than paintball. I will be selling all of my paintball stuff soon to fund for my future purchase (Tanaka AICS).

It's ok, you don't have to justify your paintball past, we're not going to jusdge you on it. Many of the players on this forum are either prior paintballers, or are still into it.

If you have any questions about your new G3, just shoot me a pm, I've tried just about every variation you could come up with (including many frankin-guns). Good choice on the primary, and welcome to the forums.

If any questions arrive, I will surely ask you. I've read many reviews, and have heard good about the SG-1. And, being a DM/long range weapon, H&K, and looking beautiful, I naturally want to get one.:]

I thought the same thing when I purcased my first gun, an SG1. Just know that in airsoft, "long range" aeg's are about the same as shorter barrelled variations. Other than internal upgrades, AEG's fire roughly the same. Not to sink your ship, but don't expect your stack g3 to out-range the g36 by much or at all.

Yes, I am aware that stock TM AEG's are all basically similar in their FPS, range, etc... The main reason I want the SG-1 is not only for the looks, but the longer inner barrel. I was planning on buying an FTK later to boost the FPS a little, and the longer inner barrel will add more accuracy compared to some other stock TM's :)

And about the sniping. I have read dozens of articles and things about it, as well as having many hours of on-hand experiance with sniping/concealment. I always go up to my local woods with my ghillie and hid from people walking along the paths (Yes, seems weird, but it helps with the skills) :P

Edit: If anyone wants to see pictures of my ghillie that I hand made (Took a few weeks and a lot of effort), just ask and I will post some :)

I would love to go, but I havn't got my primary yet, nor do I have the funds to (saving all my money for the primary+bbs+various other items.) But rest assured I will be at most games when I aquire all of my gear :)
