Howdy
I'm new to airsofting, like any good newb i wasted a couple hundred on cheap guns. Turned out zalrite tho, cus now I just give em to my friends and chase them around with my slightly more expensive A&K M4S.

I'm kinda intersted in buying a TM or CA or watever strikes my fancy, i still have a little bit of cash left from basic.
If not i would galdly run around like an idiot with my crap guns, I just started lookin around the site so im not all sure when the next game in SE Wisconsin is.

Welcome, and to get down to it, go with the TM. Research before you buy a new gun, but go with what you fancy.

thanks guys, and yes the TM's are lookin pretty nice, i was thinkin they were more expensive, but for around $300 thats not that bad.

I'm currently geekin out over my new UTG AK which prolly sucks but looks awesome either way. The top reicever wiggles a bit which makes me nervous, anybody know some easy fixes? or ill prolyl use duct tape like usual-scrachin

Welcome to the boards, Funk.

If you are tight on cash, CYMA has actually come up with some fabulous guns in the $100-$200 range. Wellfire also has a G3 that for the price is pretty darn good.

Although you will be better off getting a top end gun like a CA or G&G, the TM or even TM clones are great beginner guns.

Welcome to the boards and welcome to the WAA!

I think Kerrik13 is expressing an opinion here. I already stated my opinion, but a TM is a very reliable weapon and will do you justice in any skirm. Ecen with so called "beginner weapons", skill goes a long way. It feels pretty good taking out someone with an $800 work of art gun from 10 feet away with a far insuperior weapon.
