Air force, good choice.

Note: I am NOT being sarcastic

Air Force bad choice, go Marine Corps Infantry.

What are you specifically looking for Fish, security forces is really a broad term, you can do countless things in security forces.

Fish
21 Dec 06, 12:33 PM
Security Forces is the specific term, so I'm not sure how it is broad. I am toying with the idea of trying out for PJ due to the extensive medical training but my back up is SF. Basically its an Air Force cop. Its my main choice since I am relatively sure I want to be a cop after I am finish, but I have yet to make up my mind.

Guerilla Dan
24 Dec 06, 06:50 AM
yet another SF wizard...look, ask the other two, im not going to be nice about this.

DKruse
24 Dec 06, 07:22 AM
I think when Fish said SF he meant Security Forces, I don't know if you thought he meant Special Forces, idk, just putting that in.

side note, I'm thinkin about enlisting in the ARNG or Reserves as a MP.

Guerilla Dan
24 Dec 06, 08:45 AM
oooooh, i suppose you're right. my mistake. =)

Fish
24 Dec 06, 09:44 AM
DK was right. I meant Security Forces. I too get frustrated with everyone always saying they want to be the most leet special delta force seal unit possible. The PJ's I would try for but for good reason's and not to shoot bitches.

Security forces are basically military police, but in the airforce and not the army. Also, I believe they do not conduct the combat side of MP work, only the cop stuff. I could be wrong on that though. It's a good choice, I just finished MP school for the army and it can be a lot of fun. All branches train police at Fort Leonard Wood, so I figure your training would be similar to mine. Go for it!

Fish
31 Dec 06, 10:19 AM
From the SF vets I have talked to it is actually more of a combat role than other branches MPs as they are not only cops but the main security too. Anyways, after researching it more and more, SF is only gonna be my plan to fall back on if I don't make it to the PJs. The more I look, the more I want it.
